Today the same guy who asked me if I was Christian asked if I’d like to go to church with him. I replied with no small amount of amusement that my parents wouldn’t let me. Evidently misunderstanding me he said, “Oh, not Wednesdays, Sunday” I said- “I go to my parents church every Sunday” (Though it’s been many years, I haven’t quite gotten around to telling them that I don’t believe it.) The bell rang after that so I don’t know what else he would have said, but I imagine that threw him for a bit of a loop. Sometimes religious people can be so utterly convinced that they know everything. This scene merely amused me this time, but if he keeps bugging me I might have to get annoyed.
Thing is, I wouldn’t have pegged him as being religious. Or if he was religious, I would have thought, if anything, pagan, or only slightly Christian- not the type that tries to “convert” you. Odd
