Today was average. Although I didn't get to launch gummy bears second period because my Statistics teacher wasn't there. I was disappointed. And it was followed by a horrible art history lecture, the band teacher asked our art teacher to come talk. What he said was interesting but it was just hot enough to make me twitchy and the chairs in the band room are extremely uncomfortable. I'm not good at just sitting there listening for an hour and a half, I need to be able to do something with my hands in order to balance it out. So I was a bit on edge when I got home.

Then Zane was there, so I got to play with him for a while. I love my nephew, but he's only two, and he gets particularly excited around me. He says cute things though. Yesterday when he was over I had part of some country song stuck in my head that says "So I'm there for you honey." And then I go what do you think of that honey? And he goes, "I not honey! Honey for bears! And bees!" Today was better though, he was pretending he had a gun and was bam bam shooting us and my mom was like no shoot monsters and points out the window with the legos he was pretending were a gun and goes "Bam, I saved us from the lion." and then he turns and goes "Bam, I save from hippo!" I thought it was funny. I still feel a bit tired now.

Othello is really quite interesting in English, Iago is quite admirable for his intelligence in manipulating people. Not that I like him, but I admire him for his ability. I really do like the discussions in class. And the teacher is a genuine nice guy, and very intelligent.

AP art is different than I'm used to. It's rather nice to be able to choose all of my own projects, but it's a bit hard to stay focused. I'm thinking about changing my focus from character design to half humans. I did this piece with a harpy that came out fairly well. I also found out that I very much avoid warm colors when I saw my pieces next to each other. sweatdrop
They all used grays and blues! I guess that's what I get though.

I miss my gaia friends, I philos you guys. (Sorry, bad joke. Today we discussed the three types of love- eros, philos, and agape in English.)

I'm still upset about the fire. I can never really get it completely out of my mind.
