Broken by the innocence. It never lies. Sleeping as the night falls. She waits. Harmless. Quiet Sleeping and Harmless. He's awake. The night is still, but angry. He hears her. His spot has been taken. It breaks him. She has been broken for too long. His eyes will now shed the blood of the pain. She sleeps in the gentle wings. Cradled, not tied. Supported not weight down. As the bird to the spring air, she feels free. He feels the burden and the pain. He feels the mask of Arrogance break to reveal his true lies, his face of nothing. He needs. She passes no mind. Doubts somewhere deep blink from time to time. Not enough to stir her, but enough to be wise.
Maybe this is her happy ending...
