It was growing dark in the garden, the scent of blooming roses sweetening the air. A lone figure could be seen as the full moon slowly came out to play, shining its pale light down to reveal that the figure was a man. He sat on the edge of a fountain, his eyes closed, appearing to listen to the soft splashing of the water. A gentle breeze flowed through the darkening garden, playing lightly with his long black hair like a lover. He smiled a thin smile, tilting his head to the side a little as though to meet the wind’s caress. In the fountain beside him floated a few bloomed lilies, their fragrance mingling with the roses’. The man’s name was Raphael but due to an event that took away his life, if not his humanity, he had changed his name to Raven.

Raven strode boredly down the hallway, glancing around every now and then. The night was cool and the full moon could be seen every time he passed a window. With a sigh, he raised his right hand and ran it through his long black hair, untangling it as best he could, his deep sapphire blue eyes gazing around every now and then. "Where is everyone?" he muttered quietly, this being the first time he had ever come to this mansion before. He had heard that there were other vampires and sometimes humans but he never really believed rumors unless he was bored.. sorta like now.
