Aurora Sing's Random Thoughts
Its random trust me
STRESS and then the floods came....
So maybe you understand what stress is like. My father in law is very sick. He has a very rare cancer in his liver and it has pretty much taken that organ over. He has been going for treatments at the speciality hospital near our house. So both my in laws and my neice have been living with us for over a year. While I wouldn't not let them stay here, it is extremely stressful and feels like its not my house any more... Besides all that when it rains it pours. (I have plenty of cliches to relate to my situation) Tuesday my mom in law threw a load of towels in the wash and on the way to the hospital asked me to throw them in the dryer. Simple enough. Yeah...well the water never drained out of the washer. stressed I called TFO so he could be stressed about it at work...before he got home. Well, Mr. fix it took the washer apart and found that there was something clogging the pump and keeping it from pulling the water out. Cool...totally fixed it. He's always been good at stuff like that. Well, we had an odd ball ice storm in Houston eek yes I said ICE in Houston, TEXAS!!! I was going to go to work late since people in South Texas don't know how to drive on ice (I am a Yankee transplanted to Texas~ I have learned how to drive on ice) I was taking a shower; TFO started a "small" test load in the washer. My shower suddenly got ice cold. I got out with conditioner still in my hair...I went to the kitchen to try to rinse the conditioner in the sink. When there was no hot water in the kitchen either, the girls were eating cheerios and TFO was upstairs unclogging one of their sink drains. rolleyes (Like I said pile it on...) The washer never stopped filling and there was 2inches of water on my hard wood floors, from the laundry room down the hall way, in my craft room and the dining room... TFO shut off the washer, the girls and I started pushing the water out the front door. Every towel we own was on the floor and with the door open the water was actually freezing in the foyer. TFO ran to Home Depot to get a shop vac to help get the rest of the water up...

OK...yesterday we got a new washer and dryer...cause you can't have a new washer that doesn't match the old dryer...duh. sweatdrop

Im sorry for your stresses, I too have been messing about with our brand new washing machine, I forgot to take the retaining bolts out and I think I may have buggered it up as it wont spin??? Oh well that’s what guarantees are for I guess lol.

I hope your days get less stressful *hugs*
