So what did I do in english today besides read a sonnet and come up with Hammie's negative qualities? I got bored and wrote a poem. Inspiration comes from the most mundane things ^_^
I see you everyday, Standing in the cold, Often with your friend, The one with words so bold.
You seem so happy With that good group, But I have seen your face So different away from that troop.
It is then that I know (And I always know) When you are nearby, Though you betray not a sigh.
I want to turn, to smile, to talk, But just as I decide to try, I remember: I remember who I am, What I am. I cannot turn for the tears in my eyes.
Well, anyway, that was oddly inspired, easily written, and totally nonsensical!
I did my good deed for the day at lunch ^_^ Chips get stuck in machines all the time, and the latest victim of this problem was Amanda. I've had stuff get stuck tons of times, so I got it unstuck for her. I may as well be nice to her. Can't hurt. Besides, I like to go by my policy: there's no such thing as too many second chances. Except in a few cases. I'm even managing to get along with Jackie without annoying her (a first). lol, maybe I was just being blinded by my mixed-up loyalties. It's happened.
My coded quote (took forever to do...)
ideal wonderful cantina lovely better yodelling shut pepper sup will microscope see dots how shun.
Here's a hint: underlined letters are the 1st letters of the words. And the second letter of a word will always be the second letter of the word it belongs in. But some words can have many letters in a row (like "wonderful" has 3 letters)
