Recently, I discovered the music of Jimi Hendrix. I was amazed by his prowess with the electric guitar. His music has and always will influence todays many genres of music. With a perfect blend of funk, rock, and blues, he has an appeal to fans of all ages and music genres. I felt that Gaia Online needed a place for all JImi Hendrix fans needed a place to gather and exchange ideas and opinions related to the work of Hendrix and all that was influenced by him. Hence my Jimi Hendrix Thread in the Music section of the forums.
If you like any music that involves a guitar, you shoould stop and appreciate what Jimi Hendrix has brought to the world of music. You may not like his music, but you cannot deny his sheer talent and influence. Unfotunately for Jimi Hendrix fans, we lost this guitar god in 1970. He died very young, mainly from his heavy drug use. LSD, barbituites, and Marijuana were just some of the many drugs he used.
I wonder, as I am sure many others do as well, what his music would be like today if he had not died so prematurely. Fortunately, Jimi Hendrix had tons of unreleased live and studio material which have been released every so often to quench the Jimi Hendrix fans never ending thirst. The most recent of the albums is titled, "Burning Desire".
So, try and support the JImi Hendrix Thread. I and every Jimi Hendrix fan, would be eternally grateful.
