Everything's gotten so expensive in the Marketplace. And it's really pissing me off.
I know the Donation items are supposed to go up in value, but... when I bought my Coco plushie in mid-December, I squeaked by with the bare minimum: somewhere around 45-48 thousand. Now they're upwards of 100k. In about one month, the Marketplace price has DOUBLED. Everything in the Marketplace has become so expensive, even if it's not Donation. Emo glasses going for 10k? Please. Striped (Black/White) Leggings for upwards of 65,000. Chyaku Norisu Scarf, for the same price. Ancient Katanas are going up each day I'm in the Marketplace, and they were over 70k last time I checked. No one can pay that without saving up money for months, you know? And some of us on Gaia have a LIFE. Like school, work, friends type of life, not IM, email, and chatrooms. I may not like outside much, but I do have things to do other than be online every waking moment. Inflation needs to drop, or else we're going to get less people willing to come back to Gaia like the mods or whoever might want.
