Personality: Since she was a child, Misaki was always fascinated with reading. Her imagination would take over as she placed herself in the book and became the main character. She then found an interest in writing poems and short stories for her friends and family members [who cared]. She is always striving to better herself, too, attempting to live up to the expectations of the "ram" that is known to be very bright. She never wanted to be a disappointment to anyone, so she constantly had her head in a book either studying or broadening her vocabulary. Misaki usually keeps to herself as well. She's not one who really holds conversation. She is also extremely shy, especially when she's around someone she likes, in which right now she's so busy with school that she has no time for a crush. She's a very calm girl who rarely loses her temper...as a matter of fact, she never loses her temper, at least to a point where she becomes loud and ignorant. Let's just say if you need to copy some homework or you just love to read the dictionary while sipping at some green tea, she's the girl to come to.
Appearance: Standing at 5'4", Misaki has a very slender, small body, one that seems to be of a premature child who never ate their vegetables. Her hair is a chesnut brown and comes to her upper back. Most of the time, her hair is out with either bows or some type of hat, but in school she has it in a loose bun or two pigtails. Her eyes are very large and medium brown. She also has glasses that she uses for reading.

Past History: Misaki was born of 2 non-cursed Sohmas. And, as every story goes, she was placed in her father's arms and transformed into a ram....or sheep in her case. But, unlike most families who had breakdowns and hated their children, Misaki still received love and affection from her parents, though her father could not give his precious daughter a hug. This broke him down to a point where he actually started to close himself away from the world. To think that his one and only child that he loved so dearly would never know how much he really loved her. His wife was the only one who could ease his pain through comfort and she was the only parent who could love their child for two people. Misaki never understood why her father could never embrace her on her birthdays or give her hugs before bedtime. She thought that he didn't love her, but through process of illimination, she figured that there must be something wrong with her that only her mother could touch her and not her father, like she had some type of a disease.
But the truth finally came out when Misaki's 8th birthday rolled around. Her mother had finally explained the situation of why her father could not give her the love that he wanted to give, and that she seriously wanted to receive. Misaki had fell into her mother's arms, crying. Everything was clear now. He really didn't hate her. She was right about the reason in a small way. But luckily enough, her mother could give twice the love for her daughter. But again, as every story goes, something tragic happened.

Personality: Nijiro looks like the type of guy who would normally keep to himself. Actually, he pretty much is like that. But don't be fooled. Underneath his straight-faced mask, there lies another Nijiro. One that enjoys company and laughing. But that side is only released when he's around a child. Children always seem to bring out the better, brighter, more childish side of him, but at times, he needs to keep his guard up. He doesn't want many people to see him that way, especially not his friends, who look up to him so greatly. He also keeps his sexuality to himself. He's not ashamed of it, but since he has an image of this so called "tough-guy", it'd be better for most people to not know.
Appearance: Like most 17-year-old boys his age, Nijiro stands at the height of 5'8" but only weighs 137lbs, leaving him on the slender side. His hair is a dull brownish color that pretty much defies most of the laws of gravity. His eyes are very un-natural. His right eye is a grayish-green color while his left eye is red. Where this came to be about, not even himself really knows. He also has a scar over his left eye. This strange occurance is also unknown. He usually keeps a bandange over his left arm for his own bizarre intentions. But despite all of his weird abnormailities, he's still a decent looking young man.

Past History: Nijiro was born one of 4 brothers. His mother was an outsider Sohma and his father was a normal japanese man. His whole family seemed to be doing well until he was born. In front of everyone in the hospital, including his brothers and father, he changed into a large horse, right in his mother's arms, paralyzing her legs and spine for life and keeping her in the hospital. His father became extremely enraged, as did his brothers. They brought him home and his father encased his anger for when the child grew up and he would take out all of his anger.
As Nijiro grew up, 2 of his older, supposedly "loving" brothers always picked on him, playing cruel tricks, beating him up, and wearing him out so that when transformed, they could use for for stupid things. His father had constantly beat him for the silliest of things. The 3 oldest brother could only watch and coach him through all of the suffering. The same routine happened for 13 years until Nijiro finally took a stand. He fought his 2 oldest brothers, leaving some damage and beat the hell out of his father, doing anything he could to hurt him prior to. Pushing him down steps, tripping him when he stepped of a curb, anything. Finally, Nijiro decided to run away. The third brother [the one who was nicer to him] tried to convince him not to until he actually realized what Nijiro had to go through.
As he said good-bye to his only loving family member, he took off, not knowing where he was going. A few days later, he stumbled acroos the Sohma Main Estate, where Akima had figured out that he was a member of the zodiac, and stayed there with them. A few months later, Nijiro's other brother found him and came running to the Estate. He told Nijiro that his father had died. Nijiro gave no look of remorse or anything of that sort. 'That's what he gets', was the only thing he told his brother. Now his brother, with some hurt feelings, began to hate Nijiro himself and ran off to commit suicide.
Once his brother died and the funeral came around, Nijiro and his 2 other brothers were there, the other two weeping, but Nijiro could not cry. He began to visit his mother more after he had told her what happened. Luckily, she started to get better, but he still could not hug his mother and just cry. From thence one, Nijiro has had an inability to cry and it's been that way ever since.

Personality: Ritsuko is one bubbly little cursed human being. Even though she is 16, she acts much like a child on every occasion. She loves all childish things from going out for ice cream to Saturday morning cartoons. She enjoys hanging out with friends and chatting. She doesn't really enjoy school, but afterschool is when all the magic happens. You can say that hanging out is one of her favorite past times. She enjoys being with her forest home family and Nijiro. But not everything is all ice creams and cakes. Ritsuko does get lonely sometimes. And depressed. And suicidal. And the thing is, when she gets like that, she never tells anyone about it. Not even Nijiro.
Appearance: Ritsuko is about 5'5" and weighs 117 pounds. She's a pretty average girl. Her hair is a lightish-brown color and it comes to the back of her knee-caps. She normally keeps her hair in two ponytails. She also has two large, chesnut-brown eyes. Getting into more detail, her head isn't very large, she keeps her bangs cut short, but not too short because without them, her head looks like a patio or a front porch. Her neck is slender and so is the rest of her body. Nothing too fancy.
