Coheed and Cambria Story Screenplay. Not Mine.
COHEED AND CAMBRIA SCRIPT The house EXPLODES, wiping everything away and causing Claudio to fall to the ground.
CUT TO:
EXT. GRAVE YEARD- NIGHT
Lighting flashes and thunder roars. Claudio Kilgannon is dragging a woman, an unknown, by a leash. Ten Speed and Claudio are watching from a distance.
CLAUDIO
What is young Kilgannon doing here?
TEN SPEED
He is here to tell you what needs to be done. If he kills her, with your help, he will recognize his true path.
CLAUDIO
How can my fictional character kill something real?
TEN SPEED
You are looking at the wrong girl.
Claudio Kilgannon drags the woman, still unknown, through the mud.
CLAUDIO K
I'll make you wish you hadn't burned our time before. I'll live through this in a manner cursed at my own accord.
WOMAN
What will happen if you do this? What are you gaining?
CLAUDIO K
You are holding me back from the truth I must know. All you have done is delaying me from my mission. If my shame spills out worth across this floor, then tonight, goodnight I'm Burning Star Four.
CLAUDIO
Burning Star Four?
TEN SPEED
Yes, he will become what he is meant to become. But she is restricting him.
Claudio looks back at the scene, but see it's the disfigured Claudio holding the leash in front of the grave.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
In my presence you might wake through this fiction I must fake. Your death to grace the face of my character. With these lessons he might learn that all the worlds from here must burn. For as God, I, demands in the end we miss.
Disfigured Claudio throws her into the grave as Claudio runs from Ten Speed and CHARGES THE GRAVE.
CLAUDIO
No!
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
So come on b***h, why aren't you laughing now? You left me here to fend on my own.
Claudio runs at the disfigured Claudio, but is hit in the face and flies backwards. Claudio Kilgannon walks over his body.
CLAUDIO K
Bring to pass my burning!
Claudio sits up to see he is in ANOTHER SETTING. He sits on the ground OUTSIDE A MOTEL ROOM.
CLAUDIO (OV)
Where the hell am I now?
Claudio stands, scans the area and sees a SUITCASE next to him. It has the word "HELLO" printed on the side.
TEN SPEED (OS)
Take it inside.
Claudio picks it up and walks to the front door, and sees it has the word "HELL" posted on it.
CUT TO:
INT. MOTEL ROOM- EVENING
Claudio enters the motel room and looks around to find nothing. He places the suitcase on the table, opens it up and sees a BOTTLE OF POISON.
CLAUDIO (OV)
What the hell am I supposed to do with this?
Erica comes walking out of a nearby room, only covered by a robe.
TEN SPEED
What do we do about her?
CLAUDIO
Nothing.
Claudio looks in the corner where Erica and Nick are having sex (NO NUDITY OR STRONG SEXUAL CONTENT).
TEN SPEED
Nothing? Kill her! What was it you think she's doing? She is disrespecting your love for her. Kill her!
CLAUDIO
No, I will not kill her.
TEN SPEED
Kill her!
CLAUDIO
Stop!
TEN SPEED
Do you remember why she left?
CLAUDIO
Because of me.
TEN SPEED
Haha. No, she left because she hated you! Kill her! Kill her!
CLAUDIO
Stop! Shut up!
It goes quiet as Claudio is once again left in motel room, ALONE. He is in the midst of crying but also becoming angered. Erica is still standing there with the robe on.
ERICA
Hey babe. What are we going to do today?
CLAUDIO
What? Why did you do it?
ERICA
Do what, babe?
Claudio looks at the table where the poison is NOW PLACED IN A CUP. Erica picks it up and hands it to him.
CLAUDIO
Why did you leave me like that?
ERICA
Will you, my love? Will you drink my chemicals?
CLAUDIO
You killed me. You left me there to die. To die alone. Why shouldn't I drink it? You killed me once.
Claudio takes a drink of the poison. A couple of seconds later he falls to the ground and Erica stands over him. It is from Claudio's POV.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
All I wished for was one last kiss.
CUT TO:
EXT. HOME- EVENING
Claudio lies on the ground as Ten Speed approaches.
TEN SPEED
You see? She didn't care for you. She wished you were dead so she wouldn't have to deal with the suffering you would inflict on her. She's a selfish whore.
CLAUDIO
This is too much.
TEN SPEED
O no, writer, you will hate her even more. Do you remember the last time you were with her? The last you held and kissed her? The last time you saw her with your loving heart?
CLAUDIO
I don't want think of it.
TEN SPEED
Feel it.
CUT TO:
INT. HOME- MORNING
Claudio is sleeping in bed and he awakes with Erica LYING ON HIS CHEST.
CLAUDIO
Erica, get up. My plane leaves in two hours.
Erica moans and barely moves.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Come on, babe. Get up.
ERICA
You're so annoying.
CLADUIO
I know.
ERICA
O, baby, don't go.
CLAUDIO
But I have to.
ERICA
I know.
Erica moves and Claudio gets up. He walks into the bathroom, but turns around to see Erica sleeping. He smiles and Erica opens her eyes to see him.
ERICA (CONT'D)
What are you smiling about?
CLAUDIO
You.
Claudio walks back to the bed and kisses Erica.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Do you love me?
ERICA
Of course.
CLAUDIO
I'll do anything for you.
ERICA
Would you?
CLAUDIO
Yes.
They kiss once more.
CUT TO:
INT. AIRPORT- MORNING
Claudio, with a bag around his shoulder, and Erica are standing outside the gate.
CLAUDIO
I don't know if I want to go now.
ERICA
You have to, Claud. This is what you want to do. You need to do this.
CLAUDIO
Your right, babe.
A voice is heard over the intercom.
WOMAN (OS)
Flight 07 to Los Angeles is boarding now.
CLAUDIO
Okay, I have to go.
ERICA
I'll see you in a week.
CLAUDIO
Leave yourself intact, because I will be coming back. Don't change, don't do anything. (Pause) I love you.
ERICA
I love you too.
They kiss as Claudio moves away from her and enters the gate. Erica turns around and begins to cry.
ERICA (CONT'D)
(Whisper) I'm sorry, Claud.
Erica's phone rings so she grabs it from her pocket. On the caller ID it says 'NICK'.
ERICA (CONT'D)
(Whisper) So sorry.
EVERYBODY AROUND HER FREEZES, but she is still in a moveable state.
CUT TO:
EXT. AIRPORT- NOON
A plane takes off and soon the clouds turn DARK AND GREEN, and lighting flashes as thunder roars.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO (OS)
Would things changed if I could've stayed? Would you have loved me either way?
CUT TO:
INT. AIRPORT- NIGHT
Erica turns around to see the deformed Claudio standing at the gate.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
If I would of stayed home and spent more time with you; would that of been better?
ERICA
Yes.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
Then why did you force me onto this plane?
ERICA
I was going to end it with Nick. I was hoping that when you came back everything would start over.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
Liar!
Claudio quickly walks towards her and Erica takes a few steps back.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
You lying b***h!
Claudio grabs her wrists.
ERICA
Please, Claudio, stop.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
I cursed the day I had learned the web you spun. You're a black widow. Poisoning those around you; feasting on their pain.
Claudio begins to drag her away.
ERICA
What are you doing?
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
I was going to ask you to marry me! We were going to get paid well and live happily. But no, a whore intervened.
ERICA
You weren't there for me. All of your time was sucked into your work. I couldn't take it.
Claudio stops walking as he stares off into the distance.
ERICA (CONT'D)
All I wanted was you.
CUT TO:
EXT. HOUSE- EVENING
Claudio is lying on the ground and flames surround him as Ten Speed arrives.
TEN SPEED
Welcome back. How does you pen fall, young Writing Writer? Do you understand the pain she caused you?
CLAUDIO
I deserve what happened to me. It's entirely my fault. How could I expect her to stay faithful to me when I was never there? I was always on the road, trying to do what I wanted to do. Stupid! I should have been there for her. I just wish it all could have been different. Stayed at home for a change.
TEN SPEED
Blaming yourself does not erase the hate you have for her. There's another way. Kill her! End your suffering. Stop torturing yourself and let the b***h pay!
CLAUDIO
What does this have to do with the story? Your telling me to kill Erica: my reality has nothing to do with Claudio Kilgannon.
TEN SPEED
Haha. Your eyes only see what she does. Erica may be reality, but she influences the character to stop Claudio Kilgannon from doing what he needs to do.
CLAUDIO
What?
TEN SPEED
I'm not asking you to kill Erica; I'm asking you to kill her.
Claudio looks behind him to see Ambellina.
CLAUDIO
Ambellina? What does she have to do with this?
TEN SPEED
You wrote the character. You should know where she was born from. She is spawned from your precious Erica. End the story. Young Kilgannon refuses to believe what he truly is, now make him believe. Kill her, and be satisfied!
CLAUDIO
Erasing Ambellina?
TEN SPEED
So, are you going to kill her off?
CLAUDIO
No, I love her character, she stays.
TEN SPEED
In saying that, you are letting Erica destroy you and letting Claudio Kilgannon to die.
CLAUDIO
She is the new love for the young Kilgannon. I can't kill her off.
TEN SPEED
Love? Why do you always use that word? What has it done for you? The only thing love's done is put you in this position. A position prone to pain and agony. I say kill her off!
CLAUDIO
Yeah, but you say many things and how does that work you're a bicycle. I'm surprised I listened to you this much.
TEN SPEED
It works because I'm your subconscious, and in here lays the war you shall come to write.
CLAUDIO
I have written about death too much. Why should the Keywork go under another war?
TEN SPEED
Your rest will come through it all. Take advantage of this opportunity, and allow yourself some peace.
CLAUDIO
I will not sentence Ambellina to death.
TEN SPEED
You need to tell the boy the truth. He needs to know.
CLAUDIO
He will figure it out.
TEN SPEED
He has no faith.
Ten Speed turns to show Claudio a MIRROR. On the other side of the mirror are Ambellina and Claudio Kilgannon looking in.
TEN SPEED
Here is your chance. Pass over into your story and do what needs to be done. Now, tell him!
CLAUDIO
I will not do it through a murder.
Ten Speed becomes angry and the flames around them become stronger.
TEN SPEED
Do it!
Claudio is thrown to the ground as the flames surround him.
TEN SPEED (CONT'D)
Why are you doing this? Put the wheels in motion! Kill the girl!
Claudio gets back on his feet.
CLAUDIO
I can't.
TEN SPEED
Yes you can. Think of what she put you through.
CLAUDIO
Ambellina didn't put me through anything.
TEN SPEED
Then think of the influence did to you.
Claudio looks back at Ambellina to see Nick approach and kiss her.
TEN SPEED (CONT'D)
Look at her smile and deceit.
Disfigured Claudio walks up to them. Nick disappears and Ambellina is left.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
What will be the consequences of your death?
AMBELLINA
You can't kill me. I made her! She is mine! I create the surroundings. I made the union and companions.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
I will send you off to the hell I sold. There you will find that never again will you rely on the words of your friends. In the unwritten end for when you go they won't be following. Your friends wont be there for you. No one will hear your screams in my hell.
AMBELLINA
The end? My death will bring the end?
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
You're not as real just what I thought up. You're just a page I'll burn from a book that has nothing to show. Your history won't exist. With a rip of a paper, a light of a match, a scratch from a pen you will die. No character will speak your name. No one will care for you.
AMBELLINA
You can't do that. You mustn't!
The disfigured Claudio pulls out a rope.
DISFIGURED CLAUDIO
Believer, believe it or not. You'll know when it ends and how it goes.
AMBELLINA
No!
Claudio, watching from a distance, turns from the scene.
CLAUDIO
I may have a side drenched in hate, but I will not go through with it. I will not kill her.
TEN SPEED
O yes you will.
The fire becomes bigger so Claudio has to fall to his knees and cover his face. When he looks back up he is in the first floor of a home. HE IS WEARING A PRIEST OUTFIT and in front of him, on the table, states 'GOD ONLY KNOWS'. On his hands is blood. Claudio looks around suspiciously.
CLAUDIO (OV)
Where the hell am I now? And what the hell is on my hands?
Claudio stands up and walks into the next room. In the room are group of children sleeping; THE SAME WHO ACOUSTED HOM. On the far side of the room is a clock that reads '4:00AM'.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Wake up.
Slowly, the children awake. They stand up and face Claudio.
CHILD
You woke us. Why?
CLAUDIO
What do you mean?
ERICA
You should of the left them sleep.
Claudio turns around to see Erica.
ERICA (CONT'D)
Since you woke them, a good-bye will be hard.
CLAUDIO
Who is saying good-bye?
ERICA
I am. You are going to kill me.
CLAUDIO
No, I'm not.
ERICA
Whose blood do you think is on your hands?
Claudio looks at his bloody hands and wipes them on his clothes.
CLAUDIO
I'm not going to kill you. Stay here, with the children.
Everyone freezes except Claudio.
TEN SPEED (OS)
You had your chance Writing Writer. Now you will face the painful results.
CLAUDIO
What can you do?
Claudio backs at the children to see that there is a LARGE GROUP OF ZOMBIE LIKE CREATURES surrounding him. They grab him and he struggles to free himself, but can't. He sees a TOOLBOX nearby. After opening it he sees a SCREWDRIVER and picks it up.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
This nightmare must end! Wake up!
He shoves the screwdriver INTO HIS WRIST.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Wake up!
PEOPLE
To the blade! To the blade! To the blade!
TEN SPEED
Sorry, you are going to suffer through this. It will be worst then what has already happened. You had your chance, Writer, but now I must do what must be done. You will thank me. I am in your mind; I know what you want.
The zombies like creatures carry him OVER THEIR HEADS towards a hill. On top of this hill is a GUILLONTINE WITH TWO VERY BIG WONGS ON EACH SIDE. The people continue to carry Claudio towards it and eventually PLACE HIM IN THE DEVICE. Two very dull looking women stand by the guillotine. They place and lock Claudio's head on the device. Claudio STRUGGLES, but can't move. All of the people stop moving and stare towards the hill. Out of the crowd comes Erica and approaches Claudio.
CLAUDIO
Let me out Erica.
ERICA
I'm sorry, but this is the only way.
She gives Claudio a small kiss.
ERICA (CONT'D)
This is no beginning, this is the final cut!
CLAUDIO
No!
Erica PULLS THE LEVER that causes the blade to fall.
CUT TO:
EXT. HOME- EVENING
Claudio is lying on the ground outside of a house. He gets up and begins to cry. The mirror is a few feet away from him.
TEN SPEED (OS)
What else needs to be said?
CLAUDIO
The bike is right. This needs to end. (Pause) I'm going in.
Claudio stares at the mirror and walks towards it.
CUT TO:
EXT. CAVE- NOON
Claudio and Ambellina are fighting a Priest. The battle leans both ways.
DARK VOICE (OV)
Two Nightmares will becomes one, and with that one we will learn our end. The God will meet his creation.
The Priest knocks Claudio down and grabs Ambellina. Claudio quickly recovers and stands up.
CLAUDIO
Drop her, or you will pay.
The Priest throws Ambellina aside.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Ambellina!
She ISN'T MOVING. Claudio looks back at the Priest, but Claudio has dark green eyes. The Priest smiles and her fangs are revealed.
PRIEST
What now, boy?
CLAUDIO
No! No! You will not kill her!
The Priest charges Claudio.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Enough!
A bright light flashes, causing everyone to cover his or her eyes. The NIRRORS SHATTER and the Priest is pushed through the air. When they open their eyes up, they are in a DARK FIELDS WITH HILLS. On one of the hills is the winged guillotine. Also, nearby is the HOME, BUT IN RUBBLE, a pile of wood. The Priest gets up and Claudio Killgannon slowly walks up to it.
CLAUDIO K
Now Priest, you will suffer like your other ungodly creatures.
Claudio Killgannon sticks out his hand as the Priest GRABS ITS HEAD.
CLAUDIO
Leave it, Crowing! Leave it!
The Priest's head EXPLODES.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
I told you to leave it.
Claudio K (Killgannon) turns to see Claudio behind him.
CLAUDIO K
Who are you? Why do you look like me?
CLAUDIO
I am your Creator.
CLAUDIO K
Ha. My creator?
CLAUDIO
I am the love that sleeps in your heart. The day that houses your frame. I am the memory that fuels your fire; young Kilgannon and I will show no mercy when dealing with your worlds. For the friction of my own have come to a blaze, and in that flame I have learned with the misery I will find peace.
Claudio tries to kick Claudio K, but he dodges it.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Through my world I will destroy yours.
They get in a fistfight and Claudio knocks Claudio K to the ground. Claudio K, on the ground, looks back up at Claudio as fire blazes around him. Ten Speed comes behind Claudio. Ambellina faintly moves.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
If she wont give me the love I came here for then I will erase her with a stroke of a pen.
CLAUDIO K
What does Ambellina have to do with it? Leave her!
CLAUDIO
She is the reason for my suffering and the wall to your realization.
CLAUDIO K
But if you're God, then how could she be a problem?
CLAUDIO
From start to finish I made you feel these uncomfortable turns, only with these words have you learned to love through hate. I know how you feel for them, as I did, but this was not made for you.
Claudio K gets up.
CLAUDIO K
You made this pain for me? You have killed the ones I love? No. You are not Wilhelm Ryan.
CLAUDIO
Do not look at me as a person from this world, for I have left you alone. I have guilt for the paths I laid in front of you. You have felt what you were never to feel. This is where I hide the story of my life. A piece put in place of the mundane routine I so wished to break.
TEN SPEED
Yes. Go get him and kill the girl.
CLAUDIO
You will breathe vengeance in the moves I make; in the moves I write for I am your creator.
CLAUDIO K
You want me to believe this s**t? That, as a God, you live a life? From that world you live, I suffer?
Claudio K charges Claudio and they fight, but Claudio easily dodges his hits.
CLAUDIO
Your powers will not work here.
CLAUDIO K
You made me into this!
Claudio knocks Claudio K back to the ground. Ambellina begins to get up.
CLAUDIO
Unfortunately, as I have loved her in the real you would later love her in the fake. I cannot let this happen.
Ambellina stands all the way up.
CLAUDIO K
What are you going to do to her? You better not-
Claudio raises his hand is surrounded by a blue circle. Ambellina grabs her throat as she BEGINS TO CHOKE.
CLAUDIO
Believe me, for when we are done she will be dead. And with your fuel of anger, you go on as the Crowing to destroy all I have made. Finally, laying to rest what I so recklessly made.
CLAUDIO K
Why?
CLAUDIO
I am tired of constantly being reminded of the ones I loved, and the ones that once hurt me.
TEN SPEED
Yes, kill her.
Claudio K charges Claudio once again and they fight.
CLAUDIO K
I've been made to run, because you yourself run from your world, a world you're too scared to live in. My God is a coward!
Claudio throws Ambellina into the rubble of the house, and stares at Claudio K.
TEN SPEED
Do not listen to him for he is your creation. He knows nothing and why you do it.
CLAUDIO
Maybe your right but this is not the way it was supposed to happen. I am truly sorry for putting you through this. You don't deserve it. You are my finest work.
CLAUDIO K
I won't allow it!
Claudio K hits Claudio to the ground and he slowly gets up.
CLAUDIO
I wrote you stronger then I thought. This is the sign of the Crowing.
CLAUDIO K
Please leave us. I will be able to recognize my path. I can do it without murder.
CLAUDIO
I'm sorry, but I know what will come to pass if I let this go.
CLAUDIO K
Please!
Claudio grabs Claudio K.
CLAUDIO
Stop fighting it, Crowing.
CLAUDIO K
You made me the Crowing, so I will use it all to stop you.
CLAUDIO
You can't.
Claudio K looks over at Ambellina. He stops struggling.
CLAUDIO K
No Ambellina.
Ambellina walks over with a SPIKE THROUGH HER STOMACH. Claudio K frees himself from Claudio, and runs over to Ambellina. As he grabs her, she falls to the ground.
AMBELLINA
Dear Claudio, I know not much of love. I tried before and it was taken away from me. Whenever I try to love, it dissolves. It is not in my make, but if I could've, I would've loved you.
Ambellina closes her eyes and Claudio walks away.
CLAUDIO
I told you Kilgannon, she would of loved you. And with that you would of fallen and this story would go on. With the story rolling on, I would of suffered more.
CLAUDIO K
You selfish b*****d. You use your creation as a fall back. (Pause) Ambellina stay with me, don't close your eyes.
Claudio picks up his ten-speed and begins to walk it down the road.
CLAUDIO K (CONT'D)
Where the hell are you going? We are not finished here!
CLAUDIO
Yes, we are. I've done what I set out to do. You feel it now, don't you? You are more than ready, as your parents were more then ready.
CLAUDIO K
Do not bring them into this! You are the murderer! You control all and you let this happen so you could be happy.
CLAUDIO
Yes, use that anger. You have nothing to live for. Become what you were meant to be and destroy this horrific world. Look to Star Four, listen the Vishual. She will know what to do.
CLAUDIO K
Vishual?
CLAUDIO
Your time has come, Crowing. You're Burning Star Four.
Claudio rides his bike down the road and over a hill. Claudio K holds Ambellina's dead body; he cries and clinches his fist.
CLAUDIO K
I have nothing else to do.
CUT TO:
EXT. HILL- EVENING
Claudio drops his bike and walks up the hill. The clouds turn black and lighting strikes. Slowly, Claudio MORPHS into the disfigured Claudio. Also, he holds a rope and behind him, Erica is being dragged. Soon, he makes it to the top of the hill and he stands beside the winged guillotine. He places Erica on the device and locks her head into position.
CLAUDIO
In the final curtain call, you left me here with the coldest of feelings: weight, kind, depression. You're a selfish little whore and if I had my way I crush your face in the door! This way is too quick.
ERICA
No! Claudio, stop! You know you don't want to do this!
CLAUDIO
This is no beginning; this is the final cut.
Claudio pulls the lever and the blade falls.

An airplane begins to LAND. A phone begins to ring as a woman's voice is heard.
WOMAN (OS)
Hey, this is Erica. Obviously, I'm not here so leave a message and I'll try my best to get back to you.
CUT TO:
INT. AIRPORT- NOON
CLAUDIO, a 28 year-old man with shoulder length black hair, white skin and skinny body, walks down the terminal.
CLAUDIO (OS)
Hey babe, I got home a day early. Just letting you know I'll be home soon. I missed you so much and I can't wait to see you.
CUT TO:
INT. CAR- NOON
Claudio is driving down a highway while his phone rings. He answers it.
CLAUDIO
Hello?
LUKE (OS)
Hey Claud, it's Luke.
CLAUDIO
Hey!
LUKE (OS)
How was LA?
CLAUDIO
Hell.
LUKE (OS)
At least you got to go to the geek fest.
CLAUDIO
It's called a comic-con.
LUKE (OS)
All right. Put down the laser gun Treky.
CLAUDIO
Very funny.
Luke laughs a little.

I'm baffled too. I don't know who the hell would read a story called Coheed And Cambria.
CLAUDIO

LUKE (OS)

CLAUDIO
You are serious! See, this is why you are the greatest agent ever.
LUKE (OS)
Just please, don't disappoint me.
CLAUDIO
I won't. I swear.
LUKE (OS)
All right, well get working on the comic and I'll keep you updated on the publishers. Sorry, I have to go; The English Panther is on the other line.
CLAUDIO
Tell him he's the greatest guitarist ever.
LUKE (OS)

CLAUDIO

CLAUDIO
She'll be real happy.
Claudio hangs up the phone and starts to CELEBRATE by honking the horn and turning up his music. Eventually, he pulls into a DIRT ROAD that leads to a distant home. It's in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nothing but hills.
CUT TO:
INT. HOME- NOON
Claudio excitedly walks into the home. It's a two-story home that is quite roomy and a little bit messy.
CLAUDIO
Erica! Erica! I have some great news!
Claudio quickly EXPLORES THE FIRST FLOOR.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Erica? Where are you?
He spots a CELL PHONE on a nearby table.
CLAUDIO (OV)
Erica? You never leave your phone home.
Once he picks it up, he sees it states: 2 NEW VOICEMAILS. He puts the phone up to his ear and begins to go through some mail. Some mail has "Notice" posted IN BIG PRINT on the front.
MACHINE (OS)
You have two new voicemails. First message, sent today at 12:19 pm.
CLAUDIO (OS)
Hey babe, I got home a day early. Just-
Claudio hits a button.
MACHINE (OS)
Message erased. Next message, sent today at 12:34 pm.
MAN (OS)
Hey babe, it's Nick.
Claudio drops the mail and puts his attention on the phone call.
NICK (OS)
Just wondering where you are. Were supposed to meet at the Camper Motel, right? Anyways, can't wait to touch that body of yours.
Claudio becomes PALE AND STUNNED.
MACHINE (OS)
If you would like to delete this message, press seven. If you would like to save it in the archives, press nine.
Claudio looks at a nearby picture of HIM AND ERICA. She is 20ish, small, with short brown hair. They are at a park, smiling at the camera.
MACHINE (OS) (CONT'D)
Hello? Are you there? If you would like-
Claudio closes the phone and STORMS OUT THE DOOR.
CUT TO:
EXT. ROCKLIN COUNTY- NOON
Claudio flies down the road. Rocklin County, in New York, is a very small, close nit town. He spots The CAMPER MOTEL, a very broken down motel, and pulls into the parking lot.
CUT TO:
INT. CAMPER MOTEL- NOON
Claudio enters the building and approaches the clerk.
CLERK
Yo.
CLAUDIO
I'm here to meet my friend, Nick. Can you tell me what room he's in?
EXT. THE CAMPER MOTEL- NOON
Claudio quickly approaches ROOM TWELVE with a HAMMER at hand. He stops outside the door and PACES BACK AND FORTH. Slight sounds of moans are heard. He tears a little.
CUT TO:
INT. MOTEL ROOM- NOON
Claudio kicks in the door as we see Erica and NICK in bed (SHOW NO NUDITY). They quickly cover up their nakedness. Nick is a medium sized 19 year-old with short brown hair.
ERICA
What the hell Claud?
CLAUDIO
Erica… how could you?
ERICA
What are you doing here?
Claudio looks at the man as he puts the last of his clothes on. He then stares at the hammer and CRIES HARDER.
NICK
Sorry man, I didn't know-
CLAUDIO
Get the hell out.
Nick moves too slowly.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Get the hell out!
Nick runs out and shuts the door. Claudio looks at Erica put the last of her clothes on.
ERICA
Don't look at me like that.
CLAUDIO
Why shouldn't I? I just caught you screwing another guy!
ERICA
It wasn't my fault?
CLAUDIO
What? What the hell is happening?
ERICA
Ever since you started that comic book, I've been out of your life. You've been spending more time with your pencil then me.
CLAUDIO
I'm trying to support us.
ERICA
It's been two years, Claud. We've got nothing from-
CLAUDIO
Good Led just signed me into their company.
Erica stops talking and look guilty. She begins to cry.
ERICA
About time. (Pause) Maybe we should talk-
CLAUDIO
You b***h! I loved you!
Erica sobs as Claudio leaves.
CUT TO:
EXT. HOUSE- NIGHT
Claudio rides up on his TEN-SPEED as it RAINS. He crashes the bike and gets up. He is obviously DRUNK as he stumbles to his house.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE- NIGHT
He enters his home and see it's VERY MESSY. Slamming up against walls with a bottle whisky at hand, he hits the answer machine and sits at the table.
LUKE (OS)
Claud, it's Luke. Good Led is getting a bit frustrated. I know your going through the whole Erica thing, but that was weeks ago. It's time to get back on track. (Pause) Sorry, but call me. We can't loose this deal.
Claudio sees a drawing on the table. It is of a 20ish year old, blue, fairy like, woman with wings and short blonde hair, and the name AMBELLINA written at the top. He SLAPS it off the table as a bunch of papers fly everywhere. He enters his bedroom, removes his shirt and falls into bed. On his dresser, next to his bed, is a FACE DOWN PICTURE FRAME. He lifts it up to reveal a picture of Erica. He stares at it for a second then SLAMS IT ON THE FLOOR next to him. The GLASS SHATTERS beside his bed.
CLAUDIO
Why?

EXT. SPACE
The GRAIL ARBOR, a medium sized battle ship that holds a couple hundred people and has a crane outside of it that holds an escape pod: MS-11
CHASE (OV)
A ship known as the Grail Arbor moves through space at a gracious and deadly motive. Though it may only a couple hundred men, it's looks are deceitful. Within its hull is a young man that is set on a mission.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Claudio, the same from New York is laying in bed.
CHASE (OV) (CONT'D)
A mission more deadly then the Heaven's Fence has ever seen. He has set out to kill the TriMage, Wilhelm Ryan. A vendetta that will quench the thirst of many. He has the power to destroy Wilhelm, but also the whole universe and-
Chase's voice gets all SCRATCHY. We see a picture of Claudio on the Grail Arbor, sleeping and a picture of Claudio, in New York, sleeping.
DARK VOICE (OV)
And as the pages turn within the story, so does the world of its creator. One faces the killing of his enemy and the other the killing of his creation. Soon, two nightmares will become one, and with that one we will learn our end for the Character…

EXT. KALLINE- NIGHT
A group of Jesse's soldiers are stealth fully moving through the outskirts of the city of KALLINE; a big yet quiet city. A soldier pulls out a walk-talky.
SOLDIER
(Whisper) How is it going with the ATB Generator?
SOLDIER (OS)
Almost there…
SMALL EXPLOSSIONS are heard through the walky-talky.
SOLDIER (OS) (CONT"D)
Got it! We'll be out in a second.
SOLDIER
Over and out. (Pause) Alert to all parties, meet at the evac. I repeat; mission complete. Meet at the evac.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE- NOON
Claudio sits in a house with a CATHOLIC PRIEST OUTFIT on. He quickly stands up.
CLAUDIO (OV)
Where am I? And why am I wearing this?
Looking down, he sees the words: 'GOD ONLY NOWS', written in blood. Then he sees BLOOD ON HIS HANDS.
CLAUDIO (OV) (CONT'D)
What the hell did I do? What the hell is going on?
From the house comes many ZOMBIE LIKE PEOPLE. Their flesh is rotting and they are very slow in movement. Also, their voice is very scratchy.
PEOPLE
Save us! Save us!
They get closer to Claudio.
CLAUDIO
Who are you?
PEOPLE
We are the ones who hold this universe together. We are the soles of the Keywork.
CLAUDIO
What is it you want from me?
PEOPLE
We want freedom!
CLAUDIO
I can't do that. The only way is to destroy the fence. (Pause) I will not destroy Heaven's Fence.
PEOPLE
Then you are no Savior.
CLAUDIO
I'm not!
PEOPLE
Save us!
The people GRAB onto Claudio as they repeat 'SAVE US!' Claudio looks around and sees a TOOLBOX. He opens it to find a SCREWDRIVER.
CLAUDIO
This isn't real!
Claudio SHOVES THE TOOL INTO HIS WRIST.
PEOPLE
Don't leave us!
CLAUDIO
Wake up!
He screams.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Claudio wakes up screaming. He quickly looks around to see if anyone is around. Finally, he calms down and stays seated on his bed.
CLAUDIO
They are only dreams. They are not real.
JESSE, a 40ish year old, tall, muscular man with shoulder length black hair, appears from the darkness.
JESSE
What do you make them?
CLAUDIO
Jesse. (Pause) I don't know… I don't want to deal with them.
JESSE
What did you see young Kilgannon?
Claudio sighs.
CLAUDIO
I saw the souls of the Keywork tormented in their enslavement. Their cries of pain are like any I have ever heard. Why do I dream these nightmares?
JESSE
You are different then any other person. (Pause) What were they doing?
CLAUDIO
Begging… begging for their freedom. But that can only be given by destroying Heaven's Fence. I can't help them. I wont! I will not sacrifice the living for the dead.
JESSE
I'm not here to make decisions for you; you are too far in your path for that. But you are going to save all souls… whether dead or alive.
CLAUDIO
I can't help either… I'm afraid, Jesse. Afraid I'm not worthy of who you think I am.
CHASE, a small girl, though really 40 years-old, with long brown hair, enters behind Jesse.
CHASE
There is no question young Kilgannon.
CLAUDIO
Chase.
CHASE
It is in your make that you bring forth with you the coming of the end. When has any Messiah not reformed life?
CLAUDIO
Stop it! I am no Messiah! I have tried my best to go along with you guys, maybe even beginning to believe you, but I can't. We are so far into this mission and you have a fake with you. Too much doubt runs through my mind for me to succeed.
CHASE
Keep on believing. You will soon come to accept that you are The Crowing.
CLAUDIO
What makes you so sure?
CHASE
Because he tells me so.
CLAUDIO
Don't believe everything people tell you.
CHASE
Whether or not you believe it, others believe it. Don't fail them!
JESSE
We should leave him.
CHASE
Don't doubt your existence, Claudio.
Jesse and Chase leave as Claudio lies back down.
CLAUDIO (OV)
Why do I deserve all of this?

EXT. SPACE
A small transport ship flies through space towards OMEGA PRIME, a big planet that is much like Earth.
CUT TO:
INT. TRANSPORT SHIP- IN SPACE
MAYO, a 40ish year old, tall, black man, part machine, skinny and cane, and a couple of soldiers sit in the small ship. A screen appears of a Red Army soldier.
SOLDIER (OS)
You are approaching Omega Prime. Identify yourself before- General Mayo?
MAYO
Yes.
SOLDIER (OS)
Forgive me sir. I thought you would be arriving in a better ship.
MAYO
Tell Master Ryan that I will be arriving soon.
SOLDIER
Yes sir!
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Jesse and Ambellina are on the bridge. A soldier, from the small group on Kalline, appears on screen.
SOLDIER (OS)
Sir, we have disabled the ATB generator. You should have a small hole to get through and land on Kalline.
JESSE
Great job, soldier. Have your men prepped for battle. We'll need your support before we land.
SOLDIER (OS)
Always ready boss.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE ATLANTIC- NIGHT
Mayo enters a dark quarter and bows before WILHELM, a 50ish year old, tall, old, skinny white man with a wrinkled face and long blonde hair
WILHELM
What happened general?
MAYO
The rebels did a move I did not expect.
WILHELM
You outnumbered then four to one.
MAYO
It was a bad call by me, sire.
WILHELM
Where is my Priest? I have seen the worst.
MAYO
He has fallen.
WILHELM
Yes.
MAYO
The boy demonstrated some powers that give evidence that he may be the one we fear in secret.
WILHELM
The Crowing?
PRIESTS, very ugly, gross creatures with dissolving skin and a dark voice, stick their heads out of the surrounding darkness and HISS AT THE NAME.
WILHELM (CONT'D)
He is. We cannot underestimate his actions any longer!
MAYO
Then I await your orders, my lord.
WILHELM
I have already given my orders.
MAYO
I was not informed.
WILHELM
And you shall not be informed. I ask differently of you, Deftinwolf. Have patience. For I sense another more powerful then our opposition and his attention is to side with us.
MAYO

MAYO

WILHELM

MAYO

EXT. DESSERT- NOON
Claudio walks the desserts. In the distance is the city of PARIS, not today's Paris, but a New York looking city, burning. Claudio comes upon two skeletons.
COHEED (OS)
You will commit that sacrifice.
Claudio turns around to see COHEED, a 40ish year-old, tall, muscular man with short black hair and scars all over his left arm, and CAMBRIA, a 40ish year old, medium sized woman with shoulder length black hair, side by side, with their arms on each other's back.
CLAUDIO
Father… mother. Why did you leave me?
CAMBRIA
We had to, baby. We wish we never did, but it had to be done.
COHEED
The same with your brother and sisters.
CAMBRIA
They were all necessary actions.
CLAUDIO
Necessary? No murder is necessary.
COHEED
They may have been cloaked in murders, but they were sacrifices. Every Kilgannon will go through it. Even you, my son.
CLAUDIO
What about the souls? I'm too save them?
CAMBRIA
You will do what you think is right.
CLAUDIO
I don't know what to think.
COHEED
You will. You have taken the steps to understand.
Claudio walks up to them and HUGS them.
CLAUDIO
What now?
COHEED (CONT'D)
Thy kingdom come.
Coheed warps into the MINSTAR, a large beast with spikes spewing from his body.
MONSTAR
Thy kingdom come!
CLAUDIO

The PLANET BREAK FROM THE KEY WORK and the souls are released.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Claudio lies on the bed, sleeping as Ambellina enters.
CLAUDIO
(Whisper) I will…
AMBELLINA
Wake up, Claud.
Claudio slowly wakes up.
AMBELLINA (CONT'D)
You haven't been sleeping so well.
CLAUDIO
More nightmares of my parents. More hurt. (Pause) I tried my best not to believe what Jesse told me about my parents.
Claudio lies on his bed as he looks at a PICTURE OF HIS DECEASED FAMILY. The portrait is placed on the table next to his bed.
AMBELLINA
Are they really nightmares?
CLAUDIO
It's like a dream where you reach out to grab something important, but it disappears. I want my parents to stay, but they disappear. That is a nightmare. My thoughts tease me that my parents may be alive. My heart wants to believe they are hiding out off on some remote colony on silent Earth. But my mind screams it's true. If only I could have a good night's sleep without the nightmares.
AMBELLINA
You think your mind is teasing you? Think back on your dreams, on your parents. Has anything been caused by that mind of yours? Everything that happens in your head happens for a reason. Just look past the pain and past the hurt. There you will find the answers your looking for.
Claudio closes his eyes.
AMBELLINA (CONT'D)
But we have no time for it. Get dressed; Jesse needs you on the bridge.
Claudio shoots up.
CLAUDIO
What is it?
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Ambellina and Claudio walk down the ships hallways.
AMBELLINA
We found a way onto the planet. Earlier this morning, one of Jesse's spy teams disabled an ATB Generator in the City Of Kalline. There is now a hole in the Omega's planetary tractor beam big enough to hold the Grail Arbor. There is a chance we can land on the planet undetected.
Claudio stops walking, causing Ambellina to stop walking.
CLAUDIO
Are you serious?
AMBELLINA
We can't stop, come on.
They start walking again.
CLAUDIO
It's clearly a trap. There's no way a force that small can stand against the Red Army. They had the door wide open for them the whole time. We'll all get slaughtered once we touch down, that's if they don't blast us out of the atmosphere first. God! Doesn't anyone else see that?
AMBELLINA
We know what our odds are. That is why we're going to sneak you onto the planet without a major battle.
Ambellina stops walking and turns to Claudio's face.
AMBELLINA (CONT'D)
And your doubt is getting very irritating.
They begin to walk again.
AMBELLINA (CONT'D)
It is our only chance of getting you down there.
CLAUDIO
Listen, I realize I am not like the others, but that doesn't mean I am who you say I am.
Chase comes up behind them.
CHASE
Then who are you?
Claudio and Ambellina stop to turn and look at Chase. Then they continue to walk.
CHASE (CONT'D)
Well?
CLAUDIO
I am… no one. Just because my parents had gifts, doesn't mean I do.
CHASE
Can you explain why the Priest of Onstantine prey upon you?
CLAUDIO
I don't know why they do, but they have don't know what they're doing.
CHASE
A whole army chases you, young Kilgannon. You dream of souls of the Heaven's Fence. Who else has made contact with the dead? (Pause) Why do you hold so much doubt? Why can't you believe your parents passed something on to you the day you were born, and with each day it grows stronger.
Claudio looks at his arms.
CHASE (CONT'D)
You can feel it, can't you? The power rushing through you. (Pause) Something follows you.
AMBELLINA
She is right. The Prise have been waiting for this moment of truth. To see what really happens when we place you on the surface, in front of Wilhelm.
CLAUDIO
What the hell am I even supposed to do when I get there?
AMBELLINA
When it's time- you will.
They approach the bridge as Claudio and Chase hold hands. Jesse is commanding the crew and MICHAEL, a very fit man with short brown hair.
JESSE
Michael, can you land us on the planet?
MICHAEL
Not in the Arbor Grail, it's too large; the planet's radars will detect our power immediately.
JESSE
Can we turn off the power and float through the hole?
MICHAEL
No, we have to maneuver in order to get by, so if we don't have power, we can't maneuver. I suggest we shift some of the power to the MS-11, and use the MS to tow the Grail Arbor through the opening. We'll be able to take the Grail Arbor, but we'll have to do it without shields or communications.
JESSE
If they detect us, then we're screwed.
Claudio leans in to whisper to Ambellina as Jesse thinks about the situation.
CLAUDIO
(Whisper) He can't; it's suicide.
AMBELLINA
(Whisper) You obviously don't know your uncle.
Jesse stands tall as people await his answer.
JESSE
We have no choice. We leave ASAP.
Claudio sighs and walks away.
JESSE (CONT'D)
Get Lusious, we'll need a good pilot to-
MICHAEL
Sir, let me do it. If Lusious misses, you guys will be down a powerful soldier. We can't sacrifice that.
JESSE
What are you saying?
MICHAEL
Let me go. I can do it.
JESSE
(Pause) Okay. Head to the MS-11.
MICHAEL
Yes, sir!
Michael quickly exits.
JESSE
Hayden, get on the crane.
HAYDEN, a short blond, follows Michael.
JESSE (CONT'D)
I hope this work.
CUT TO:
EXT. KALLINE- NIGHT
The group of Jesse's soldier meets in the middle of a forest.
SOLDIER
We all here?
SOLDIER 2
Yes.
SOLDIER
Open a link to the Arbor.
A soldier looks around like SOMETHING IS NEAR.
SOLDIER (OV)
What is that? I feel something.
The soldier feels his face as all of his ORIFICES BEGIN TO BLEED.
SOLDIER (CONT'D)
What the hell is going on?
From the mouth comes a TENTACLE TYPE LIMB. All of the surrounding soldiers look at him curiously and fearfully. Soon the soldier bursts into a GROSS CREATURE that is tall and has multiple limbs spitting out of him.
WILHELM (OV)
There is no court to judge the treason you have sinned. You played your part well, young masters, but I no longer need your roles.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE ATLANTIC- NIGHT
Wilhelm sits on his throne as he laughs an evil laugh.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Jesse stands on the bridge with Ambellina and the rest of the crew.
JESSE
Call out when everyone is in position. (Pause) Ambellina.
AMBELLINA
Yes?
JESSE
Have we heard from the ground team?
AMBELLINA
No sir. They should have reported in.
JESSE
Try to contact them and inform them of the new plan. We'll need their ground support for when we land.
AMBELLINA
I'm on it.
Ambellina walks over to a computer near by and she types in some commands.
AMBELLINA
Bult-Team? Bult-Team? Come in. Come in.
CUT TO:
EXT. KALLINE- NIGHT
All of Jesse's soldiers are DEAD as the ground is covered in blood and bodies. On one of the soldier's radio is on and Ambellina's voice is heard.
AMBELLINA (OS)
This is the Grail Arbor. Is anyone there? Bult-Team? Come in?
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Claudio and Chase sit in a cafeteria area, eating and LAUGHING.
CLAUDIO
So how is Sizer?
CHASE
We aren't seeing each other much. I'm just not ready at this point.
CLAUDIO
Good idea. Relationships during a war are tough. Take my word for it.
CHASE
Then why are you having one?
CLAUDIO
I'm not anymore.
CHASE
You and Ambellina ended it?
CLAUDIO
What? I was talking about Newo. You thought Ambellina and I were together?
CHASE
Yeah. You can't see her chasing you?
CLAUDIO
No. I think you're looking into things a little too much.
CHASE
I don't think so.
An image of the dead soldiers on Omega flash in Claudio's mind. He grabs his head.
CHASE (CONT'D)
Are you okay?
CLAUDIO
Something is wrong.

INT. ARBOR GRAIL- IN SPACE
Michael is seated in the MS-11, a ship attached to the Grail Arbor by a CRANE.
MICHAEL
Arbor, do you read?
JESSE (OS)
We read you, MS-11. You can detach when you want. Let us know when you want us to power down.
MICHAEL
I will.
JESSE (OS)
Michael.
MICHAEL
Yeah boss?
JESSE (OS)
Good luck.
MICHAEL
Thanks. (Pause) Detaching.
CUT TO:
EXT. SPACE
The MS-11 detaches from the crane and moves in front of the Grail Arbor.
HAYDEN (OS)
Mike, I've locked in on the hole's coordinates. You will have about a mile to play with.
MICHAEL (OS)
We'll need all of it. (Pause) Activating tractor beam.
A small, blue visible beam of light ATTACHES the MS-11 to the Grail Arbor.
MICHAEL (OS) (CONT'D)
You guys are going to feel a little jump.
CUT TO:
EXT. KALLINE- EARLY MORNING
A group of Red Army soldiers walk over the REMAINS of Jesse's dead troopers.
SOLDIER
What the hell happened here?
A voice of another Red Army soldier comes over the radio.
SOLDIER (OV)
Kalline's ATB Generator is destroyed. We need to get a repair team in here in order to get it running.
SOLDIER
Do you know what caused it?
SOLDIER (OV)
No. There are small explosions all over the vital parts. Whatever happened, it was done manually, not an accident.
SOLDIER
I have a bunch dead bodies on the outskirts. There must be a link. Keep searching around and report if you have anything else.
SOLDIER (OV)
Copy.
CUT TO:
INT. HOUSE ATLANTIC- EARLY MORNING
Mayo stands by Wilhelm's side. Ryan reveals a smile.
MAYO
Sire?
WILHELM
Yes, general?
MAYO
May I ask why you are so calm? Why are you so optimistic?
WILHELM
You will know soon.
MAYO
How-
Mayo's voice is cut off by holo-link; it's the soldier that discovered Jesse's dead soldiers.
SOLDIER
Come in, General.
MAYO
What is it, Colonel?
SOLDIER
Sir, I found a couple of dead bodies that seem to look like the enemy.
MAYO
Why are they there? And dead?
SOLDIER
I don't know, but it looks like they also disabled the city's ATB Generator. Their death is still an odd choice. Still, sir, with the shield down, we are vulnerable to being ambushed and I believe we are.
Wilhelm begins to laugh.
MAYO
Who is it, my lord?
WILHELM
Why are they doing this? (Laughs) They are truly out of their minds.
MAYO
It's them? It's the enemy?
WILHELM
Of course, general.
MAYO

Jesse is on the bridge as Ambellina stands back. She begins to shutter and look around SUSPICIOUSLY
MAN (OS)
I'm not going there. I'm no murderer!
DARK VOICE (OS)
I'm not asking you to kill her. I'm asking you to kill her!
AMBELLINA
(Whisper) What the hell?
Ambellina becomes pale for her color and walks off the bridge.
JESSE
Michael.
MICHAEL (OS)
Yes?
JESSE
We're coming up on Omega's asteroid field. Your going to have to focus and steady. With one-miss calculations, we're dead.
MICHAEL
Thanks for the help.
JESSE
You know how I teach: the rough stuff first.
CUT TO:
EXT. SPACE
The Grail Arbor, being towed by the MS-11, slowly approaches an ASTEROID FIELD.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Ambellina enters Claudio's quarters as he lies on his bed, writing.
AMBELLINA
Am I interrupting?
CLAUDIO
No, I'm just writing in my journal. Actually…
Claudio writes for a second or two and we see he comes to the END OF THE JOURNAL.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
I ran out of pages.
He throws the book aside.
CLAUDIO (CONT'D)
Are you okay? You're beginning to look white.
AMBELLINA
I just felt this sudden sense of… death and darkness. I haven't felt this since I first heard of God's will.
CLAUDIO
Come sit down.
Ambellina sits next to Claudio on the bed.
AMBELLINA
I've just become scared all the sudden, and I never get scared.
CLAUDIO
Believe me, you'll be able to cope with it.
AMBELLINA
Claud, You are the only one that can protect me.
Ambellina leans her head on Claudio's shoulder. A few seconds pass and Claudio seems like he becomes COMFORTABLE TO IT.
AMBELLINA (CONT'D)
What are you thinking about?
CLAUDIO
Nothing: just what Chase told me earlier.
AMBELLINA
What did she tell you?
CLAUDIO
Just her old crazy stuff.
AMBELLINA
Your heartbeat has become irregular.
CLAUDIO
What do you mean?
AMBELLINA
You're getting nervous.
CLAUDIO
What do you expect? I'm on a suicide mission.
AMBELLINA
No. You fear something now, in this room.
Ambellina takes her head of his shoulder and places her face near his. It looks like as if they are going to kiss. But before they do, the SHIP ROCKS a little. Jesse's voice comes over the intercom.
JESSE (OS)
Sorry people, we just nicked an asteroid.
Claudio and Ambellina, in an AKWARD POSITIONS, become silent and look away from each other.
CUT TO:
EXT. SPACE
The Grail Arbor and the MS-11 pass through the last of the asteroid field. Now nothing is in front of them except a planet.
CUT TO:
INT. GRAIL ARBOR- IN SPACE
Jesse stands on the bridge as he stares out onto the planet.
JESSE
(Whisper) Omega. (Pause) Michael, you're set for a while. Take a break. You'll need all of your focus on getting through the shield.
MICHAEL (OS)
Yes, sir.
JESSE
Where's Ambellina?
Ambellina enters the bridge.
AMBELLINA
Here.
JESSE
Have we heard from the ground support?
AMBELLINA
No. I'm afraid something may have happened. If they were caught or killed, then they'll be expecting us. We'll have our
