Pepper = Phantom
Co-Co = Raul
Salsa = Christine
(This analogy was thought up by Pepper.)
The Phantom didn't know Christine very well when she was growing up, but was obsessed with her and loved her very much. One day Christine's childhood friend, Raul, comes back into her life and realizes that he loves her very much. (It was creepy to learn just how true this is.) The Phantom became over protective of Christine and Raul came fighting for her. The Phantom realized that Christine and Raul were meant to be together and gave up on her entirely letting the two come together and live happily ever after.
