Valentine's Day, V-day, the Day of our Saint Valentine. A mushy day of love and chocolate's, of which the route is the notes that people slipped through jail bars to St. Valentine. A priest who kept performing marriages because he beleived in love, even though the King had proclaimed there would be no more marriages so that he could keep up his army.

Vday is a fairly polarized day. You love it or you hate it. I have someone, therefore I love it this year. Many people who don't have anyone bear a grudge towards this day. Some people (like myself the majority of the time) just don't give a damn.

But my Valentine's day was good, I got a nice little gift, but it wasn't the gift itself that was important, but the letter that accompanied it. While Scott often claims to have no romantic skill, if he tries he is perfectly capable of being sweet and romantic. And I do live to be with him and the fact he's around makes my day that much brighter. No one really wants huge extravagent things on Valentine's day, just someone who really cares about them to spend it with.
