I've lost track of how long I've been here so I guess I'm going to have to call this Zero Hour of Day 1. Our regiment (about 200 troops) is scattered all over this region of the planet. Which planet? I have no idea. We were part of a secret government program called EXODUS to investigate a "newly" discovered region of space where hundreds of planets, very similar to Earth have been found. The EXODUS consists of an alliance of countries like The United States, Japan, Germany, and a few others. The civilians of Earth don't know how advanced the human technology has really become. We have already discovered something similar to the dreamt-up "hyperspace," we have already discovered anti-gravity, we even already know how to teleport objects, even living things from one point to another. The government has been hiding this from all of the civilians and even most of the military personel. They hide this because they are afraid that the people will become suspicious of what we are doing in space. They may possibly try something stupid and get in our way. The government has also used the war to cover up our disappearances. Many of our KIAs, MIAs, and "mysterious" killings of scientists are actually scientists and military personel recruited for the EXODUS...never to see Earth again. I'll come back and report more on this later I've just recieved an urgent request from 024.
