Everlast
The ash cradle creaks to a bed time story,
as leaves rustle and wind howls in midnights glory.
Fog stumbles clumsily across the wooden floor.
an her breath escapes, an skin is peach no more.
Her memorys remain in the photos in his chest.
some unknown an untold are now laid to rest.
Behind the eyes of this doll, this lifeless being,
this human corpse that no longer has a meaning.
they call her revenant, this soul that is gone.
But what they don't know is that she hasnt moved on.
She traces her steps of what she so craves and desires.
Its but a boy that she yearns and that so inspires,
that she sings her requiem her voice full of woe,
but her songs are but a whisper to the realm he'll never know.
she trys and she crys to touch but his cheek,
yet no matter her effort she can't find the fullfillment she seeks.
She strokes away his tears as he sleeps an as he dreams.
But little does she know nothing is ever what it seems.
Cause when the sun rose again to bring forth another day,
his breath had escaped an in his sleep he stay.
An as she lay beside him his motionless causing deciet.
She all the sudden felt complete,
as the arms around her gave her heat.
Now her soul can retreat.
the dark can be the light in the most complicated situations,
just as he is her savoir from all her tribulations.
You may think this is the ending to another happy tale,
but this is only the begining of another rocky trail.
A trail thats leads to everlast, a wonderland of death.
a land that takes the soul away and burns out every breath.
