Seeing as I have all Poems... I decided to put a little intro story =]
Power. Unbelievable Power…
She sensed it, her feet pounding against the hard element she had been running on for so long. Somewhere, wherever it was there was a battle. Internal and External. Of the mind and the body. Gifted Vs. Human. Footsteps echoed, the sounds traveling toward her ears. She paused, for only a second, continuing on faster. Those noises…They were not made by her. Her eyes darted, she needed an escape. Bang. The sound of a gun being fired, a shotgun…to be precise. Her heightened senses reacted, “If it’s that kind of gun, then the bullet should be right….” She tumbled to the right, the bullet almost nicking her cloak. “There.” She muttered, as she broke into a run.
