I remember when I was reading this article about the difference between pads and tampons, and stupid me decided to ask my mother if she would buy them so I can see which one I perfered. Well this was her reaction to my innocent question:
"WHY WOULD YOU!" after a few minutes of ranting about how "in gods name I would even think about this" she left the room. I guess to cool off. She returned to the room and calmly asked:
"Can you tell me which of your friends told you about tampons?" after her reaction to a simple question you can somewhat understand why I was so hesitant to tell her so I simply replied:
"No one. Forget about it." But apparently she was trying to make up for her out burst. After several embaressing questions I simply showed her the article. Well from that day on I don't ask many questions, at least not to my mom.
