Anyways
I want to record what happened today- Christmas 2oo6.
I set my cellie's alarm for about 6:50am today, then set it again for 8:50am when it woke me up. xD
Brother woke me up and said that it's time to open presents.
>.> I walked downstairs.. then I walked back upstairs because I forgot to bring the gifts from "Santa" to put in my bro's, mom's, and dad's stockings.
>- - I got caught, oh well.
biggrin We opened the gifts one by one.
-takes chocolate off comp screen-
>.> nyum nyum.
x3 Lol it's shou cute when we all opened gifts. We were all laughing and.. stuff.
Aw man, now I forget why it was so awesome- but it was awesome. biggrin Really awesome!

Just wanted to remember that it was a great Christmas day.
OH YEAH! At church, the priest dude said a nice story: [not verbatim]
A family was about ready to head out to church on Christmas day, when the Dad said that he didn't want to go and would much rather watch TV.
So the rest of the family went to church without him--.
The Dad was sitting on his sofa, with his snacks and whatever else, until suddenly hearing a "thump."
"Thump thump" it went again.
It was coming from the window.
So he got up to check out what it was-- and low and behold it was a little bird.
The little bird kept pecking at the window, trying to get inside the warm house.
The Dad went outside to get a better look at what was happening...
..and when he was outside, he saw that the tree was FULL of birds.
Some of the birds came down in groups to try pecking at the window again.
Some of the birds threw themselve at the window. xD! That's just hurting themselves more.
So the Dad took pity on the birds and opened up his barn/garage thing he had in the back.
He was shouting at the birds-- Go in there! It's warm in there!-- of course, with no luck.
Then he tried putting a trail of bird food for them, that led to the barn-- and again it didn't work.
Then he thought.. if only they could understand me--if only I was a bird like them, so I can show them the way.
Then the Dad realized what Christmas was all about:
God sent down his only son, and turned him into a mortal man. He did this so he could show us the way.

The Dad jumped into his car and drove to church.

xd It made me tear when I heard it-- doubt it has, or will ever have, the same effect again.
