Dear Journal,
Christmas...its kind of like those words that just slide off you toung like water or honey. Depends on how its actually said...nevermind that was just stupid...But now that I'm writing about it, let me just tell you that Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Its not the presents that I like about it, the snow, the fact that theres no school, decorating, or the shopping you get to do. What I like about Christmas is just the feel of it. People smiling, enjoying themselves, and spending time with the ones they love. But thats only half of it. What I like most is the short time after Christmas because at that moment you relise something. You relise that people care about you. That you mean alot to them and they would do whatever it is they can for you you and try to be there when you need them. Sadly, I must say that not everyone sees this and just takes the gifts they recieve for granted, thinking that its just part of some old tradition. Thats what disappoints me about others sometimes. Because this world is slowly being corrupted by greed and the need for power. Why cant people understand that those things in life go no where? Why cant we be happy with what we have instead of wanting more then the human race can handle? Its pointless though...there are peole on this planet that cant see past the tip of their nose so I think them to be stupid and very small inthe world. But oddly, those are the people that make the biggest impact amoung us. They have the ality to make it a better placefor everyone but they choose not to do it or give it second thought. *Sigh*...I guess thats just the way people are...oh well.
