Gaia housing. =D Big deal for the Leams. It better come out this month. Honestly, I cried when I read that announcement.
If you know me well, you should know that I used to play Runescape like I do Gaia now. And if you know me well in the present, you know I hate that game with a passion. For multiple reasons... but one reason I shall get into now. domokun Ever since that game started, they had been promising us POH, or Player Owned Houses. I remember they had a release date, and everyone was all gathered at some gate or another, and it was either Paul or Andrew who said "I'm sorry, Player Houses have to be delayed, but they'll be out soon, I promise."
Devastation. T~T That was back when there was only one, two, maybe three servers. So they said that they would continue working on it. They would give us a release date, and then just completely blow it off. They kept doing that, over and over.
Then they took off the boards. >.>"
I remember it was getting really big this one time, 'cuz sometimes you could see people walking around in the housing area (which was enclosed by fences), and they were all 'It shall be out soon! =D' Though, in the end, they pretty much just wiped the houses off the map.
Then the RS economy went to Heck, the game stole my mother, 3D came out, and I pretty much quit.
I don't think they ever ended up with POH. T~T
So, with Gaia promising housing, I kinda went all steely and was like "Oh, it's not gonne come out. <.< Humph." and didn't get my hopes up. Plus, it was mostly just a rumour, aside from a couple rough pics.
Gaia, as far as I'm concerned, has never broken a promise. They may be slow, but when they say they're gonna do something, they do it. Even when the events overload their servers, they continue on, and possibly even extend it.
So I saw the announcement today and cried. Cried because I knew they wouldn't go back on housing now. They may not come out with it this month, but they will. Even though this is a completely different game, it all kinda clicks like it's one big thing in my head. sweatdrop So I'm finally getting my POH, after these long four or five years.
Sorry about the absence of pictures... It's just one of those days, y'know?
