I like Volleyball, really I do. But with my spring class schedule it looks like I'm not going to be able to play this semester unless one of two things happen:
1) I decide to ditch Class Piano and sign up for Intermediate Volleyball which is in the same time slot. I don't especially want to do this because those intermediates are really into winning and try VERY hard. This means increased possibility of being hit by a ball in the face. Again. sweatdrop Plus I do kind of want to learn piano, but I could always save it for summer if it's offered, when it's a bit too warm for volleyball.
2) Exchange my Analytic Geometry and Calculus I class for Precalculus II and Volleyball. Although technically I'm supposed to be trying to get ahead as quickly as possible, I am not secure in my trigonometric abilities at the moment, and Precal II can help with that. This decision almost entirely depends on how well I do on the current section of Math Analysis, since it deals with trigonometric functions we're supposed to have learned in pre-req classes. xd The downside to being allowed to skip classes.
Had to ditch singing classes entirely for this semester. Hopefully summer or fall will be better. Don't think I'll try Class Voice again....the class size was just too big to allow us the amount of individual attention I was expecting. May just have to find a private teacher if I really want to improve.
Considered taking Precal II concurrently with Calc I, but that would put me over the unit limit with my current selections and I'd have to drop something. xp I suppose I could try asking a counselor to allow it...but I imagine they're there for a reason. Like to keep us from overextending ourselves. sweatdrop
I'll have at least two of the same teachers I had this semester either way, which is cool. 3nodding There's another one I wanted, but he only teaches Ag-related courses, so I'll have to hold off until other semesters. Why do colleges have to have so many choices all in the same time slots?!? It would be slightly easier if I could take evening classes, but it's too inconvenient getting home afterward. I did however pick another 8:00 AM class. xd I meant to ditch early morning and evening classes entirely, but I'm greedy. rofl If only more classes were offered on weekends...although, I did pick three classes this time around that offer a "choose your own hours" setup. so I can hopefully fill in some more afternoon hours and Friday to make my stepmom happy.
Summer, I'll have to try an online course. I'm hoping to get through Expository Composition that way. xd
