This shall conclude The 16th Other for the time being. More will come until maybe March-April of '07. I must wait until the forgotten will become the true.
Report XXII.
As Xirks and Bixyll led though the dark city, I was dashing with Xikaelam within my arms. I looked down at her and saw that she was mumbling to herself. She was having a bad dream of some sort it seemed. Perhaps she’s having the same as me. I was beginning to remember on whom I was or my true. The boy in my dreams, I had no research on him! Damn it I left it behind in the castle! I stopped and looked back. I then looked down before the ground. How could I leave everything I’ve worked for? What have I done?
“Unh...” moaned Xikaelam from her sleep.
I looked now at her for she woke me up from my deep thinking. I noticed that she was beginning to wake up. I carried on with running and tried to find Xirks and Bixyll. I took corner after corner of each alleyway.
“H-Hey Xeggr,” asked Xikaelam with a chocking voice sounding like fear.
“What is it?” I asked with deep breathes for I was running.
“I’m sorry, I just couldn’t contain myself.”
“Don’t worry about it, I’ll be fine. And so will you, I promise.”
She smiled and held on as I ran for my life here.
We both finally caught up with Xirks and Bixyll as we were still trying to find shelter. Along the way, the white appeared within our way. There must have been hundreds of them while we were running. Xirks and Bixyll were in front of me and Xikaelam while they killed them one by one protecting themselves and I. After awhile, we reached a dead end. It was an alley and we were trapped by Nobodies behind us. Without a thought in mind, I dropped Xikaelam, turned my legs to stand in a strong stance, and raised my right arm in front of my. I made a type of shield that was a clear see through blue color, like a type of window, but not made of glass. The Nobodies swerved right into it and bounced back hitting the other Nobodies that were in lines.
I looked back to see Xirks find a type of teleportation device. He began to smash his hands upon it with fists. “Damn it, work!”
Bixyll walked up silently shoved Xirks down to the ground and summoned his sword. “Allow me,” he said with a serious tone then performed a stab into flat device. It began to glow with data numbers of 0 and 1 and had a light blue color to it. Xirks hopped in along with Bixyll himself while I stood there in the same position keeping the shield up. I looked down at Xikaelam, who couldn’t move her body and was just struggling to try to move an inch, and moved in an instant. I picked her up and ran to the teleport device. I made one more shield from behind, so they didn’t follow, and hopped inside. It began to glow disappeared into the unknown.
Xikaelam and I appeared in a room that was circled shaped like a vortex. It was dark blue mostly, but on the edges was a faded mix of black, green, and tangerine. There were the Nobody symbols moving up and down on the walls and floors. I saw Xirks and Bixyll walking to the other side, so I went and caught up with them.
“Hmm...” Xirks thought, “Where should we go?” We were all sitting in the middle of this small area in a circle type way. Xirks and Bixyll were sitting by each other while I and Xikaelam were sitting next to each other. Xikaelam was lying down with her back up and her arms crossed so her head was resting on top of them.
“What do you mean we?” answered Bixyll, “I’m gonna go on my own.”
“Where are ya gonna go then?” I asked.
He reached into his pocket to pull out a small poster. “It’s an Academy for people who are troubled with their own powers. They have dorm areas, people with different abilities, you name it. The Moogle that gave me my sword gave me this little poster as well and gave me the run down on it.” He reached and put the poster back.
“So, this must be our last seeing each other then?” asked Xikaelam.
“I doubt that. Xirks and I already planned on sticking with each other. Bixyll sounds like he’s going to that school and what about you?”
Xikaelam looked away. “I just have some unfinished business to attend to.” She stood up and started to walk away.
I got up and ran after her and cut in front in her for a stop. “What do ya mean?”
“It’s difficult to explain...”
I stood there looking into her eyes trying to find the answer. “It’s about your true isn’t it?”
She widened her eyes and looked up and me. “You know?”
I looked up and rubbed my chin. “Let’s just say, I know more then you think...” I looked down at her with a grin.
She glared at me and shoved me to the ground.
Bixyll started to laugh as he was watching on what was going on.
I looked over at him then back up at Xikaelam. She leaned down to my face. “Now, tell me what you know.”
I just grinned. “That’s not the way,” Something hit her on her spine to make her fall flat. “To ask a question...” I said as I was above her. The illusion I made on the ground disappeared from under her.
She looked back up at me confused on what just happened. She then stood up and wiped her coat. “Whatever, what do you know?”
“It’s something that you should figure out on your own, Mikaela.”
Now, she looked pissed as ever for me knowing so much and her so little. She summoned her claws and she had her head down from before yet again. “I envy you Xeggr...”
“Heh, you should since I know almost everything about her.”
He claws changed to katanas and now she was in her berserk mode yet again. “TELL ME DAMN IT!”
I yawned and put both of my hands behind my head so to make it look my arms were in the shape as wings. “Nah, I think I’ll pass...”
She looked up sharp and charged at me. I just moved to my right to see her just run away past me. “You missed if ya didn’t notice.”
She looked back and threw her arm out so her glove came off. Another one appeared in her own hand again and charged after me again. The five sword glove was head towards me and I just moved yet again. Now, with Xikaelam behind it, I just made another illusion. That led by her running into while I appeared right behind her. I summoned my staff during the process and whacked her in the back.
She fell yet again to the ground and I put my feet over her hands to make her not get up. I went into a catcher’s position to kneel down by her face. I made my thumb, index finger, and middle finger stick out only on my right hand. With my index and middle finger together, I put them on top of her head. I shot Nothingness strands as they went and wrapped her head in four different directions.
She was struggling during the process and yelling with rage. She then began to calm down and was out of her berserk. I got off her and snapped my fingers. The Nothingness upon her head disappeared and she was normal again. “Whoa. How did you do that?” She asked.
“Like I said,” I answered, “I know more then you think.”
She looked stunned then she made her weapons disappear. “Please tell me what you know.” She got on her knees with her hands flat on the ground.
I looked down on her that she was very desperate for this type of matter. I looked back at Xirks and Bixyll and it looked that Bixyll was telling him about the school since Bixyll looked pretty excited. I looked back at Xikaelam who was still looking down. I knelt down with my right knee on the ground with my left arm resting upon my other knee. I lift her chin with my right hand. “Keep looking and you will find the answer. I found mine on my own and even more! I know about your true since she’s in some of my dreams. Is my true in some of your dreams?”
She sat normal with her legs crossed. “I believe so. Does he have long brown hair and glasses?”
“Yes, that’s him alright.” I sat the same way she did. “It seems our trues are connected. Maybe their good friends and they spend time with each other like we do.” I smiled at her like I actually felt happiness.
“So, your saying that if I meet my true, then I’ll meet yours as well?”
“That’s correct. It would be awkward if we meet at the same time in the same place wouldn’t it?”
“Yeah that would be. Be nice if that happened though. Be a lot easier too.”
“How so?” I asked.
“Well, for the way we could explain things, how we were created, our purpose, their purpose, how we became because of them, etc. I hope that they won’t freak out in anyway that their connected with us.” She laughed a little on the last comment she stated.
“Don’t you mean, connected to them?”
She paused with a blank stare at me.
“Y’know, we weren’t even suppose to exist. Our main purpose is to find our trues and intertwine with them.”
“Y-You mean,” Xikaelam began to stagger with her question, “I’m a fake?”
“Not coincidentally. You may see it that way, but some others were meant to exist. I mean, what event made you become a Nobody with your true still existing?”
I sat and thought for a moment. She looked back up at me, “I’m not sure at all. Maybe I can ask her that question when I meet her.”
“See? You don’t hold all of the answers, she does.”
Xikaelam then smiled and giggled a little. “Why can’t you tell me all on what you know?”
“Well then, that will give everything away.” I just smirked, got up, and walked away.
Xikaelam got up, walked up behind me silently and slapped me in the back of the head. “b*****d...” she whispered.
I turned and smiled. I patted her on the head with her closing her eyes each pat I took. “How about this? Your too young to know huh?”
She slapped my hand out of the way and looked partially down with her eyes closed. “Whatever dip-s**t...”
I did a soft smile and walked away.
She stood there, blankly, and looked sort of confused now. She ran up and caught up with me.
I sat down in the little group on where I was before. “So, anything new?”
“Yeah,” Xirks answered, “Bixyll’s leaving us here and heading for his Academy.”
Bixyll got up and opened a dark portal from behind. “Wanna just meet back here in a year?”
“Sure, that sounds like a good plan.” I answered.
“Alright, see ya guys in a year.”
“Bye,” we all said at the same time as I waved.
Bixyll turned and walked within the portal with no worry whatsoever. The portal closed from behind to not be seen again.
“Will he be ok?” asked Xikaelam.
“He’ll be fine. I can tell that he’ll also learn something new during his time being there...”
“Really?” Xirks asked with excitement, “Is it a cool move or something?”
“No you idiot. I don’t even know what it is.” I said with a glare.
Xikaelam leaned over near me. “Is he usually like that?” she whispered.
“At times, but he’s just curious.”
That left us there now trying to figure out on what to do next.
Report XXIII.
Xirks, Xikaelam, and I camped there for the night. We were all asleep, dreaming and wondering on out own outcomes. For me, I was just in a nice drift of sleep with no dreams about anything whatsoever. Xirks was probably dreaming of him in a fight while Xikaelam was perhaps having a dream of her true for more answers.
I awoke by a sound from where I lay asleep. I turned over to see if everyone was here. We were missing one, it was Xikaelam. I got sat up to look around for her. In the area where we both fought, I saw her walking away. She reached her hand out and opened a dark portal. She looked back to Xirks and I asleep. She then turned back to find me with my arms crossed with a serious face. She jumped with surprise and landed with her taking a few deep breaths. “DO YOU MI-“
I instantly put my hand over her mouth for silence. “Shut up will ya? You’ll wake up Xirks.” I whispered to her as I gently removed my hand from her face.
She just stood there and looked back to see my illusion gone. “What do you want?”
“An answer if you don’t mind. Where are you going to?”
“I’m going to go find Mikaela. Now move out of the way.” She pushed me out of the way and continued to walk to the portal.
Right then, I grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back. She landed on my chest as I wrapped my arms around her. I had my eyes closed and a small smile upon my face. “Can I have a last good-bye?”
Xikaelam opened her eyes and looked around. She noticed that I was hugging her. She then began to relax and wrapped her arms around me. “Sure, why not.”
I let her go as she did with me. I put my arms on her shoulders and looked at her. “Watch your back, never know on what might hit ya. It might be me.” I still had a small smirk upon my face.
“I will.” She answered with a laughing expression. “Well, see ya.” She turned and began to walk. The portal started to close until it was caught by one of her hands. She opened it again and asked, “Oh yeah by the way, what was it that you wanted to tell me in my room that we got interrupted by Xirks?”
I then shot back with fear on my face and had my mouth open. “I uh...” I looked down and began to scratch my head. “It’s nothing, go.”
“But, I want to know.” She got out and closed the portal.
My expression changed to a sad one for I couldn’t tell her. She would probably hate me anyways that it would probably too complicating. “It’s complicating...you wouldn’t understand...”
She leaned forward and put her hands on her hips. “How would that be mister superior?”
“Because...” I turned around, “...it just is...”
“C’mon, you can tell me can’t you? I don’t bite...well, only when I’m in berserk mode that is.” She smiled for she knew she was taking over for once.
“No, I actually can’t...” the tone of my voice sounded very sad. It was like I was actually feeling it for once in my life, but only around her.
“Then who can?” she said sarcastically.
“Well I can, but I don’t have the guts to say it really.”
“Like I said, you can tell me.” She then had a small grin on her face and was very curious. She wouldn’t leave until she got a straight answer.
I turned back around, still with my head down. I looked up at her and my eyes were all in the blood shot way. I look to the side. “Well I...”
She leaned closer. “You what?”
“I...” I thought of a way onto say it, but not the way you’d really expect it. I couldn’t think of anything to say. I was in shock, My eyes were open, I wasn’t moving, I didn’t do a thing. The only thing I was doing was thinking deep on what I might do. What would she do? Will she hate me? Why am I this tense on something so little? I know that it won’t happen, but I don’t know how to explain it to her. It’s just too hard... Maybe if I-
She stood there looking very bored and pushed me. “Wake up and tell me!” she yelled.
I jumped and looked at her. I then remembered on what I was doing and how I was going to get out of it. I then thought of something and just smirked over at her. “Alright, I’ll tell you if you must know.”
“Well, what is it?”
“Il vous aime.” I said with an accent.
She looked very strange at me. “What?”
“You heard me... Il vous aime.”
“What the hell does that mean?”
I opened a dark portal from behind her. “You need to figure that out on your own huh?”
“But, b-but...” she looked very sad now and had no idea on what I was talking about. “That’s not fair...”
“Hey, life isn’t fair is it?”
She paused for a moment and looked at me. “Yeah, whatever.”
“How about I make a deal then?”
“Alright, I guess that may work.”
“Ok here’s how it goes: If you figure my code out, then you can do whatever you want to me. If you don’t figure it out, I’ll tell you anyways, but I get to do whatever I want to you. Deal?” I held out my hand for a shake to see if she would surely shake back.
She looked down upon my hand and thought for a little while. She slapped my hand and began to shake. “...Deal.”
“Alright. So, looks like it will be awhile huh?”
“Yeah, I guess so.” She turned back and noticed that a portal was back in the same spot. She began to walk in. “Thanks Xeggr...”
“For what?” I asked.
“Well, you helped me. You made me realize on what I should do. You picked me up when I was down. I thank you for that and hope that I may repay you.”
I smiled, “Nah, you’ve done enough. The only thing that you need to keep on returning is by still being a good friend.”
She smiled back at me, “Ok, I will. I promise.”
“You better...”
She then turned and walked within the unknown. The portal disappeared from behind and now she was gone.
I looked down, looking depressed now, and just sat there only thinking. “She’s gone...” I whispered to myself.
I don’t know how to explain, it’s just there. If there was something I could do to help, I’m never there. They only thing I knew now was that I was with a good friend and the next time that I would meet Xikaelam again. That day I hope will soon come and wonder if it will even come. As a visual, I see Greg and Mikaela relaxing on a cruise boat. They seem happy, enjoying themselves. Xikaelam and I are there, watching as they are. We only wonder if it is over, making it look that it will never end. To make it simple, we’re eternal when there’s another.
