What is happiness? I think that it is the feeling you get when something that is desired occurs. I mean when you do morally right things such as helping someone in need, being kind to someone who is not known, or generally being altruistic, happiness is fealt. If being happy is so simple, then why are people mean, why are crimes done everyday, and why do people steal. Do these things bring happiness also? I don't think so, but maybe the people who do those acts are trying to be happy, and are taking the only path they know to achieve it. Looking at it this way shows that many people try to gain happiness in ways they think are the way. Some people turn to money, some people turn to perversion, and some turn to religion. To me these things really dont make sense because to be happy, should not be the reason to do things, but it should be the end from doing something that is right. Happiness is a state of being, therefore you cannot achieve it by pursuing it. You can only achieve it by bveing a good person.
