The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows
Good song, mang.

Just an entry.
Simply because I am on a roll with blogs today.
Two on Xanguhguh. And now one on Gaia. And maybe one more on MySpace. [Probably not for MySpace.]
I love blogging.

I think I'll ramble about everything about nothing with this one.
Length? Hell yeah.
Maybe I'll not add text emotes to this entry.
Just because.

Life in general has been generally good.

Our school drama, a murder mystery written by a Junior friend o' mine, went really well. Most of the people in drama club are awesome. A lot of the people who were acting were characters whose personality matched their own. I'm not gonna drop names though, 'cause this is GaiaOnline. Hilarious stuff too, mang. I was stage crew. It rocked socks.

Our soccer boys won the state majig, so we get next Monday off in honor of their mad skills. It's really awesome -- Thanksgiving weekend [Yeah, I'm American.] is now five days long. Rad stuff, totally. I don't have plans yet. Possibly malling, hanging out, band practice, and other things.

Today was a normal school day, minus the assembly for the soccer boys [that was recorded and on the local news -- I watched it].

Tomorrow is going to be the freshman retreat. [Yeah, I'm a Catholic school girl.] I'm hoping that it's radtastic. The retreat for my Confirmation [My saint name is Adrienne. Isn't it wonderful?] was so life-affecting, so I have high expectations. If it isn't rad, then whatever. I get out of classes tomorrow.

Then Wednesday is a half day. There's extended homeroom [I love homeroom.] and then a Thanksgiving Mass. Then we go home. Catholic high school rocks, doesn't it?

Uniforms actually aren't all that bad. I don't have to worry about getting an outfit together. I'm so very lazy, so a set thing to wear everyday just works for me. Losing an identity? Not really. If you rely on clothes to make a statement for yourself, then you gotta explore other options. Besides, our uniforms have several different pieces, so those plus accessories still allows for individuality.

Religion class is also an easy high grade for my report card. Last quarter, it was 100. Actually, my overall GPA was 99.040. Pretty awesome, huh? It's only first quarter of freshman year, so things are bound to change and go downhill. English and Biology were my two "lowest" averages -- 95 and 96 respectively. I'm surprised I got an A for gym, because I am the least athletic biped I know. Kind of. I'm alright at watermelon and listening to directions. [I totally pwned three guys at this basketball-eqsue game of watermelon during this one gym period.]

I'll talk about other school subjects too.
In Math, it's all just review. I'm doing decently. I got a 39/40 on the last quiz we got back.
English is mythology. Sure, I enjoy mythology just as the next guy, but I hate the large, small texted book we have to read. We also have to write a myth of our own, due sometime next week. Geeze, I gotta get inspired for that AND a new screenname.
In Bio, it's genetics and stuff. I enjoy genetics more than say... rocks like the earth science people are doing, so it's not THAT bad. We have this project -- construct a creative model of DNA. I have a radtastic idea. It's just going to take a really long time. But I like to overachieve every now and then, soyeah.
In Global, it's all about DBQs. I don't like DBQs, because with these document based questions come ESSAYS. I'd rather take one hundred multiple choice than write an essay. But whatever, I'll deal.
In Theology [religion], it's all about the Holy Spirit. And then random things, like the Thanksgiving journal entries we did today. My teacher for this class is really nice, so it's all good.
In Art, we're drawing pumpkins and squashes and other things in colored pencil. It's quite fun. And we get to listen to our own music [iPods and whatnot] in art class, so it's all good.
Gym is gym.

I'm all honors class minus Theology and Art, by ze way.

There's also the school's Winter/Christmas Dance for the freshies and sophomores pretty soon. I'm going 'cause everyone wants me to. A date? Yeahno. That's not how I do. If anyone asks me, it's gonna be a no. The only good looking boy [in my honest opinion] in the freshmen class that I'd even consider saying maybe to is obsessed over by a good friend of mine, so yeah. This leaves me free to just spazz out and do my own thing during the dance. Awesome stuff, awesome stuff.

Hawthorne Heights is playing now.
I've been into Chiodos and Valencia as of lately for reasons of a lame nature [but their music is really good], but these guys are still rad.
Oh, and now it's The Fray. All At Once. Gotta love it.

In other news, it's nearing my birthday. It's pretty awesome.
I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to celebrate it. Aside from the midnight run the night before/early morning of that day, I might hit a local band's concert that night. Then possibly a small shindig at my house with a couple of close friends that Sunday. Food, fun, storytelling, laughter, video gaming, rocking out... Yeah, that whole dealy-o.

And then like every other person on this side of planet earth [kindof], I want the Wii. With Christmas coming up, I'll probably be able to Wii it out for the new year.

Geeze. 2006 is almost over. That shiz went by fast. It was quite possibly one of the best years of my life. Time flies when you're having way too much fun.
