'Cause I'm weird... sweatdrop


Even with his talent and unique abilities, Sephiroth was once a regular SOLDIER. At this point in life, he was much more "human"- while he was driven to suceed, he showed a natural enjoyment of his training and an energized passion to push himself. While deliberate in his actions, he wasn't quite as methodolic as he would become, and the young Sephiroth would sometimes goof-off and skip boring lecture sessions.

During this time, he had a best friend named Gun. Gun was also exceptionally talented, and was known to best Sephiroth in a duel every now and then. The private was also unique in that she was the only female at that time, and few of the other SOLDIERS knew this. This was primarily due to Gun keeping her helmet and uniform on practically all the time; if she wasn't wearing the helmet, the mantel and a pair of sunglasses hid her face.

Unfortunately, Sephiroth made a terrible mistake that caused his friend to disapepar. Without her, he turned inward, and steadily became cold and distant to others.


Jenova, in her mutated form, thanks to her previous Mako encasement, a new tank of planetary energy surrounding her, and Shinra's experiments.
