Ever heard of Noein? Hopefully you have because that's what this entry is about.
Well, I have watched it and it's a great anime (Watch it, it's awesome!!) . There was this one character that caught my attention throughout the series. A young, purple haired kid named Tobi. I've had a lot of debate over this kids gender and alot seem to think Tobi is a girl. I just want to prove that WRONG. The poor boy is most certainley NOT a girl. Proof? Why, yes I do happen to have some. Throughout Noein when (okies some spoilers if you havent seen this yet) Tobi and Atori stay in Haruka and Yuu's current timespace, everyone adresses Tobi as 'Tobi-kun'. As I hope every anime fan should know, KUN is a suffix in Japan used mostly for MALES. MALES!! M-A-L-E-S. Yeah, Yeah, I know it can be for girls too but very rarely, ami I right? Now, I'm not so sure a great enough translator came to the English casts rescue on this one. since Tobi sounds like a freekin' GIRL in English. Also, Tobi is VERRRY flat-chested. If your thinking 'Oh, well maybe she hasn't gone through puberty'. Well you're evidentally wrong. If you noticed, even the smallest girl [Miho] has grown SOMETHING by that point. Tobi is just way to flat to be a girl. IIf this didn't convince you...the KUN part should of at least. In a nutshell...Tobi is a BOY
