To people who actually follow my journal (there are such people?) you may like to know that textiles was fine, not as good as food tech, but fine. I got a 4M for food tech, which is not bad and not good.

I went to a remembrance service today. It was all a bit too formal for my liking, but it was short so it wasn’t bad. I got a good view, so I actually saw what was going on(!), which was more than I expected. I was right near the brass band that my sister was playing in, which was why I was there. They played for a while, I wondered around the village/town with mom and dad, and then came back when the ceremony began. We stood there whilst millions of little people - all dressed up and pretending to march - flocked into some tiny area in the middle. We stood there when some person, dressed in black robes and black dress with black shoes on, started to preach about memories. Then we stood there whilst somebody else said hundreds of prayers and then they shut up and all the babies started to cry with desperate mothers stuffing everything in their mouths and turning red. Then some stiff commander person (whilst shouting ‘make way for the royal flag’, ‘swift march’ and ‘left, right’) began to lead all the tiny kids out, whilst they all thought how exciting it was to march. Then we packed up and went. Nothing particularly interesting, but I wrote it down anyway…

What else happened today? Well, my Sim got engaged! Yeah, also not very interesting but it is a big step forward. I have plans for 3 or 4 kids. I huge aim, but it should be fun trying. The dog as well will probably not help. He is also another great thing. This will also sound stupid, but he slept in his own bed. Not on the floor! I have had a really annoying time trying to get him to sleep in his own bed, but now he does it on his own. Hurrah for Nikko!
