Faramir was plodding along on horseback, Jak beside him, going slowly on his Jetboard. The horse was nervous around Jak, and the Jetboard certainly didn't help.

"So, according to your brother, some guy just jumped out of nowhere and kidnapped her?" Jak asked Faramir for the twentieth time.

"Yes," he said.

"And we're supposed to save her?"

"Yes."

"Ah, one problemo, El Capitan," Daxter said. "Vadri's a little pissed at Jak right now, so having him help might not be the best idea in the world."

"Either way, we have to save her," Faramir said. "Even though she is promised to my brother..."

"Now I see what's goin' on," Daxter said.

Meanwhile, in the Bay of Belfalas, on their way to the city of Umbar in Haradwaith (also called the Sutherland), Vadri was enjoying herself in the company of the corsairs (which, she soon found out, they prefered to be called pirates, corsairs being the more eloquent form of the word).

She found that their captain, Jack Sparrow, was quite entertaining, especially after having a bit too much to drink. As she had guessed, he was permanently drunk, somewhat, which many claimed to be because he was left on an island to die and had gone mad in the heat of the glaring sun.

The pirates found Vadri rather entertaining for the most part, singing as loudly (and out of tune) as they did, even if she didn't know the words to the song.

"So, luv," Jack said as they sat down to drink some more, "you're engaged to tha' Boromir fellow, aye?"

"Yessir," Vadri said. "But, y'know, I--"

She was cut off as two particularly drunken crewmates staggered up and began singing in praise to Vadri, whom they had officially called the "Honorary Queen of Corsairs".

She grinned as they stumbled off, still singing loudly and out of tune.

"Well," Jack said, "tha' settles it. Yer one o' me crew, now."

A Note~ To all of you out there who are wondering who Vadri's gonna end up with... I have no idea. So~o... that brings me to my point. If/When you review, tell me in your post who you'd like to see her end up with:
