To say first, I made a mistake in my last post. Ray was a Lv 19 Mage/Lv 3 Arch Mage.
Well, just finished playing another session with my mage. First off, Ray gained one level of persona...which somehow gave her black hair red streaks on either side of her face and made Meir black (who had been a periwinkle color). Kinda toughened her and Meir up some.
Anywho, then this artifact-like ship and immortal-type guy started to catch up with Ray's ship...but I casted one hell of a spell. sweatdrop The spell was 9th Level, Mordenkainen's Disjunction...and it could distroy all magical items, including artifacts and immortals...but if I didn't pass then Ray would have dropped down to Lv 0 and would no longer be able to use magic at all. Can we say, a little pressure? Well...I took me sweet time with a few practise rolls (*hugs Tom*) and then I rolled the one that counted. Now, I only needed to roll a 9 or higher on a D20 and when rolling, I had my eyes closed and covered, Tom's hands over both of mine. I rolled and ... "Holy s**t..." came from his mouth. I thought I had rolled a one...I rolled a 20. eek *runs around screaming*
Well, this completely destroyed the ship and the immortal in one single blast. Tom was planning for that battle to last for a good while...and I ended it before it even started! xd
Next came the battle with the Arch-Lich himself. Now, first we all fought him and a few of his lackies then he threw Ray through the ceiling to the roof to "finish" the battle he and Ray had already started. With a few clever Time Stop and other random spells, I destroyed him. Did I mention he was immortal? Course, I destroyed his body...but I had the pendent that held his soul. With the Sword of Kas (sp?), I destroyed the pendent.
Holy s**t...again. Lookie...I just released an even -more- powerful being...vampire, to be exact. In Tom's words, the Lich was henchman #2 compaired to this guy. Damnit! gonk *sighs* None-the-less, Ray and her friend's got out of there as the new enemy destroyed the school and all else around them.

On the (sorta) brighter side...Ray's now Lv 20 Mage/Lv 4 Arch-Mage. Power...*twitch*
