part three:
Ryjia continued her yelling at the captain when he finally snapped. He grabbed her wrist as fast as a cobra and held her up. Her feet didn’t use the floor anymore, while the captain hadn’t used any strength at all, so it seemed anyway. He held her so that her face was almost touching his, but she didn’t even do as much as flinch. The captain gave her an icy glare, but still couldn’t find any track of fear. He gave up and dropped her; at least it shut her up…
And just then, Tef got noticed.
‘What do you want Tef?’ The captain asked.
‘Erm… Crikke is asking for you.’ The shy Tef said.
‘What does that bloody cook wants now?’ The captain said irritated and he left, but not before giving Tef the assignment of guarding Ryjia.
Ryjia smiled at Tef when hey were left alone; she liked him, she thought that Tef Crettin and Syth Crikke, the cook’s help and the cook himself, didn’t really belong on this ship, they were way to nice. Tef had brought her meals in order of Crikke some times before, if Kayth hadn’t given her food. She could do without food for a few days, but that really was the limit, a few days, not a few weeks.
