Once upon a time was a story told of a girl in a far far away land...
Covered in scars of her own design, mistakes and stumbled footsteps leading a path of a traveler too far worn to know a way back.
She could've been so much more, she wished... and wondered and thought...
It wasn't a fairy tale... and yet, there were angels and demons and strange talk of a prince charming...
So she ran... expecting to escape every emotion she could have ever held...
And they followed patiently... untrustingly... unchanged... they followed until their feet bled...
And she stopped...
She tattered her smile to nothing...
She sat in a sad state of understanding she could not change time...
But hold tight to what she could...
They wanted to help...
She was not alone...
Maybe this was, the Happy Ending she'd searched for...
