Dear Journal,

I've had a very eventfull day! Remember the wreck I had last week? Well, that's all in the past now because I have the ticked paid in full AND I've got my car back 4laugh !

Okay, so, tonight at work is my first time alone on the floor (last night I shadowed my boss). I've been in books! We had a book signing tonight and the guy was a first time author and he writes crime stories! I was freaking out! I picked up a book and stood off to the side and was reading the back of it. He smiled and said "Hi!" to me and I said with a big smile, "This sounds really interesting! When does the signing start?" and he said with a smile "Whenever someone wants to buy a book!" I said, "Okay!" and went to the back and got my money. I told him I liked crime stories and asked him a few other questions. He signed it "Victoria, it was nice meeting you! John Foxjohn." I thanked him and went on working, saying hello and smiling at him as I walked past. I got a break and took that time to read a few pages of his book. "I really like it so far!" I said to him. He thanked me. I told him how I liked the descriptions and everything of his characters. We talked a few moments more. I went back to work. Next thing I know, I see him walking toward me and I freeze! Okay, get this, I'm at the back of the store and of all the employes upfront, he asks ME where the restrooms are! I point in the direction and giggle to myself with pride that he came to the back to ask me! At the end of the night, I'm sad to say, I didn't get to say goodbye.

Anyway, while everything is going on with the author, this guy comes up and gets a book he special ordered. So, he gets really close and I'm like, okay, it's cool. I find his book and it's "Longistics Programing for Dummies." It had programing in the title so I thought it was a computer book and stupidly mentioned what I thought it was. He said no and gave me an example of what it was. He asked me a series of questions and described my personality from my responces from the questions. He was SO correct! Well, he carried on a conversation with me and we talked and he asked me more questions. Well, he got a book from the author as a gift for his little girl and ex-wife and needed help finding a bag to put it in. By the bags were traveling book. He stopped and looked at them and asked me a question I had trouble answering. "If I were to take you on a trip to Paris or Cancun, where would you like to go?" My heart stopped and my face was like eek and I was like "Um... Oh, wow. I-I don't know." I didn't know if this was a pshyc question or not! but he said, "No, really, where?" They guy was for real! I was like, "Um, I-I'm involved with someone..." he said "Ah, okay. Well, If I took both of you. Eh, that be ackuard, huh?" I was like, "not really, but with school and work I'd never have the time..." then brushed off and went about more shopping. I was fumbling and not-all-there all night long! He... he really ment it...
