The deeply haunting presence of spirits surounds me
I can feel them, and they can feel me
I know they are here to help, or otherwise to hinder
That feeling that sweeps over, cooling or burning to cinder
These spirits are my companions, through life both good and bad
I wonder what they'll do if I change the views I've had
Will they leave my side forever, never to be with me again
Or will they try their hardest to pull me, back to their den
These creatures cannot speak, as you I and do write and speak
They have a spiritual connection, they use it for such information leak
I'm sure they'll leave me someday, I don't know when they'll leave
I won't be happy then, I won't be sad, nor rejuice, nor greive
