Ok so in english today we started rough drafts for three poems and this is one about when our dog died:
Sunny
I woke up one sunny day
By my mom nudging me awake.
I came downstairs with my head hung
For today was sunny's last day.
I kneeled down beside her
Like I was going to pray
But just looked at her sadly
and petted her before she left.
I cried while I petted her
For she was never coming back
She left with a sad look in her eyes
and then went to the vet
where they put her to sleep
and to rest forevermore.
(Sunny was our dog if you were wondering)
