I was watching the food network this evening and Rachel Ray came on with her show where she spends less then 40 dollars in a day on food. She was visiting Nashville in this episode. Oh I miss it so very much. The whole show was "I've been there!" "Wow they have that now?" "How come I've never been there yet."......
But it's really made be kind of homesick.
I honestly hate orange county. It's an expensive plastic place to live.
I'm depressed. My husband loves CA, and isn't fond to the TN hummity.
I almost had him convinced to buy a small old house on 20 acres near my parents house once. It was so cheap and I fell in love with the pictures and so did he. But then I think he thought about leaving his mom and thought twice.
He has quite a sterotypical thought toward the south as well, which really pisses me off. He thinks since TN is a poor state that the education cannot possible compare to his orange county education -
Which believe me... of some of the people I know who have orange county educations - mine was much better.
What I like about CA is its easy and cheap to vacation. You can drive to Las Vegas, Mexico, other parts of CA like San Fran, the grand canyon... ect. It's surround by great vacation spots. Plus its not to far of a flight to Hawaii. So that is nice about it.
Also a lot of events happen here, and we are able to attend because we aren't far from them.
But my heart is in Tennessee, and always will be.
