How did you do it?
With CSS.
What's CSS?
Cascading Style Sheets. It's a way of deciding what sections of a webpage will be formatted what way, and then saying how they'll be formatted. Check out my guide for more about CSS.
How did you learn CSS?
My freshman year of college, I ended up with a job working for the school's webmaster. I'd never used CSS prior to this, only basic HTML formatting. I had to start learning some CSS for that, and shortly thereafter I started applying bits and pieces of what I'd learned to webpages and "clubs" on this other site I hung out on before Gaia XD After I started hanging out on Gaia, a friend introduced me to the web dev's toolbar, as well as a pretty good list of property indices. Once profiles came out, I had a decent understanding of how CSS worked, and I knew how to dig through pages to figure out what IDs were what. So I started digging around in source code to find what I wanted to do, and paired this with my own tweakings and learnings. I learned alot more about CSS just working with Gaia Profiles, and alot of stuff I never really understood before makes ALOT more sense now.
How do I do this *insert description of what you wanna do*?
Go check out the Profile Discussion forum. I'd say at least 75% of the cool things that can be done to profiles have been done or tried by the people who frequent that forum, so check around the threads to see if someone's already said how to do it. Also check out the guides, they really help. And if you can't find your answer that way, make a new thread (:
Will you be my friend?
I don't do random friendslisting. If we've talked and you seem like a cool person, I'll prolly accept if you send a friends request. If we've never talked, I'm not gonna add you, because chances are you just want me on your friendslist so you can bug me or say "Hey look who's on my friendslist" XD
Why did you shut your PMs off?
Because I don't think I could handle a flood of PMs. I still like to be able to use my PM box to talk to my friends, and if I left my PMs on for everyone, my conversations would prolly get flooded out before I could even notice that they were there. Featured profile gets alot of hits and attention *sweatdrop*

Chances are you were, but we didn't talk, or you didn't come to my Gaiaversary thread even though you had gotten online after I sent the PM to my friendslist asking them to come hang out with me in my thread XP

Ok I'm not really sure that anyone reading this will even care, but yes, once upon a time I was known as Meky. I left that account because I was gonna leave Gaia for good, but then I just couldn't, so instead of being accused of just saying that I was gonna leave because I wanted attention, I decided to start over. I changed the account name so that I could still have my old join date claim and use it for roleplaying XD Now that I've got a good start, if people wanna find me again, they can, I'm not gonna hide who I used to be anymore XD
