“Disjointed Praise”
At first glance, a god of darkness,
Then you see the eyes of kindness.
Yet those eyes, filled with past pain…
Alighted by Him, guiding, a falcon slain,
It’s own eyes reflected in this Gods’,
It’s calls of freedom met only by silent nods
His touch sweet, soft as the ferret he cradles
Lending it’s own stealth, the God, to possess it.
This skittish creature, in His arms, calm and quiet.
His chiseled features, His very posture,
Undeniably dubbing a Master
Master over a midnight cat, by His side
Their actions reflections of wild tides
Feeling loyalty fade, knowing what others cannot.
No, it isn’t truly meant to make sense… hence “disjointed”…. lol
