Thoughts on Mod things

So, Tuesday Miyuki, the (I'd put "a" but she really is the only truly active Mod in there) GD mod was decommissioned. I find it sad, really.
There's a thread in the Q&F that makes me want to beat my head against a wall. All I see are GDers voicing their opinions about how this really sucks and regular Q&F users blindly saying that she was removed for a reason...most of those people have never stepped inside the GD.
They say that the GDers are always whining about the Mod situation...well, that's because we CARE about what happens to our forum and want to speak up about it. If other forums are having problems, they should speak up too, not just sit and deal with it.
Anyway...back on the subject of Miyuki...I just find it somewhat counterproductive. The Admins have been saying they'll be releasing some new Mods soon and we've received nothing. No one. I know that the admins have a lot on their plate right now so the new Mods are slow in coming, but I honestly don't see the logic in removing a Mod that was actually active in their forum.
You'd think the good things would out-weigh the bad...but apparently not.
So as of now, the GDers are once again left swimming in spam, being forced to PM the online Mods lists of problem threads and pray that they will actually do something about it.
...This sucks.
