Ok, Friday (Yes this is two days late) I went on a field trip with our MESA group (Math Engineering Science and Something that starts with A...) to the New Mexico State Fair! We were early getting there, and had to wait for them to open up the gates. We got in for free, of course, and then we wandered around to try and find a place to sit... and wait some more for the other MESA groups. And of couse, I don't eat breakfast at home, so I was starving to death, so my friend Devin said she would buy a turkey leg to share. Poor thing, it cost her ten bucks for the leg and a bottle of water... So we had a fun time ripping the thing to shreds and eating it like wolves. Ok, now we wait again, and Sarah let me borrow her iPod to listen to L'Arc~en~ciel for awhile (The lead singer has such a hot voice...).
We FINALLY get to do something because the others finally show up and so we head to the indoor booths. Yay. My little group (We broke up into little groups of three) had a mission: Find the Anime Booth. To which we were disrtacted by many things and got lost alittle. After thirty minutes of asking strangers where the Anime Booth was (To which we got some stares from people and were asked, "What's Anime?" wink we FINALLY found it. Kendell, Sarah, and I all did the fangirl (O.o) squeal and started looking at books and huggling plushies and searching throu wall scrolls and squeall over action figures (GUNDAM SEED/WING!!! WHOOO!!!).
Then we went and had lunch, and Skyler made me hold an ice cube with salt on it in my hand until it melted. Stupid Skyler...Then we to the rides, got ripped off by a Carni, got a free games from another (Hott) Carni, and almost played a game for a dollar by another Carni, but we spent all our money on rides and only had 50 cents left (my 50 cents, too)
The Game...
I was invited to the homcoming game by Skyler. So I went, met some of my friends there. Hung out with them for awhile before I found Jalen, and decided to say hi and bug a hug off of him. Then I found my OTHER friends an followed them (Felicia, Rizk, and some other girl who name I still don't know. I've know her for a week now...). Eventually they ditched me >_< and I was depressed from something else that happened before then. Some emo guys (I complimented one on his boots, because they were frickin AWESOME!!!) came up to me:
Emo 1: Hello.
Me: Hello (?)
Emo 2: How are you?
Me: *looks around from the corner of my eyes* Uh, good, I guess.
Silence...
Me: Can I help you two?
Emo 1: Not really, we just came to say hi.
Me: Okay... *really confused*
Emo 1: My name's Chris and this is my brother Levi.
Me: Hi... Chris and Levi... My Name is Ettarre.
Chris: Nice to meet you Ettarre... I pronounced that right, right?
Me: Yeah. It's nice to meet you and your brother, too.
Levi: We gotta go look for our friends, so we'll see you later.
Me: Okay.
Ten minutes later...
Me: *pulls out drawing binder* Oops, didn't finish this picture...
Levi: Sooo, what're you doin'?
Me: Drawing, obiviously.
Levi: You draw really good.
Me: Thank you.
Levi: Do you have a Myspace?
Me: Yes, but I don't visit it often. *finishes Drawing and looks at him*
Levi: I see, here *hands me something* so you can find me on Myspace.
Me: Okay... *takes it and puts it in backpack* *gives him my myspace e-mail address to find me*
Levi: That's an awesome picture you did.
Me: I don't think I did to good on it... But you can have it if you want. *pullt the picture out of binder*
Levi: Yay!!
And it continued on for awhile, and Chris eventually joined us again. They ended up giving me a ride home too. Strange... Levi almost bought me a CD but I didn't want him to spend his money on me.
