Oh, man today was a boring, exciting day! We got our instruments in music so we're finally going to start playing. Yay!!!!! In french, we had to do a presentation and mine went okay... I guess. My beginning was pure stuttering but then it was better. I think it was good. At least I wasn't reading from my paper. Alain went last, but didn't finish, I don't know what got into me, but I was laughing so hard, and it wasn't even that funny! So tonight, a miracle, I have no homework so I can play on gaia. Then, I'm going to go see a soccer game, and then go to a meeting. So yup. Here's another poem I wrote, not based on anything.


Lost and losing

I had everything I could think of
Good grades, two best friends to the core
A nice family and boyfriend who gave me their love
But somehow ... I wanted more

I started to dress-up in the latest trends
hanging out with the so-called popular
I no longer saw my two best friends
if I did, I pretended they weren't there

After a month, I had changed drastically
You came (the boyfriend) and said looking me right in the eye
"If this is who you are then we can never be"
You kissed my hand and told me goodbye

That's when I started to realize
All that I had really lost
With all the mean things and horrible lies
there had to be a cost

All that I ever wanted
Was to be pretty and popular
What I had taken for granted
now seemed lost forever

I tried to start over but in vain
I tried calling you but you wouldn't answer
Now I know it's not so easy
with what I gave you; all the pain
we can never again be together
