So yesterday I spent the day in the emergency room suffering from tachycardic episodes. They monitored me for about 12 hours, sent me home with the recommendation to get a Holter monitor ASAP. It's a machine that will get strapped to my chest and monitor my heart rate for 24 hours.
So I go home, and sleep. This morning, my dad called my office, they gave me the rest of the week off to relax.
Yeah, right. That's not happening. There's just been a shooting at Dawson college, here in Montreal. For about 20 minutes I was in total panic since my neighbour and cousin both go there and we couldn't get in touch with them, but my aunt drove down tehre in a panic and found my cousin, and my neighbour was at work, so I'm relieved about that. My heart is still being sort of ridiculous right now though...
