The Seven Demon Tribes:
Hunter: Hunters specialize in long range combat and sneakiness. Mostly, they prefer to attack from long range, but a few can use dual weilded weapons with amazing skill. Hunters are known to be either patient and quiet, or hotheaded and passionate. Current Lord: Dreanin

Warroir: Warriors use weaponry or martial arts at close range to destroy their foes, and are often bloodthirsty and don't talk much. Warriors commonly use combat jargon to explain things, from dating tactics to dancing. Current lord: Harumda

Beast: Beasts are varied, but are all animals of one sort or another, or monsters like a Chimera or the Hydra. Thier personality is as varied as their membership. Thier current Lord is Quasite.

Jealous: The Jealous are succubi or incubi, and turn foes against one another by seducing them. Current Lord: Vlad

Unholy: The Unholy subvert religions, and are hard to get into battle. They are, however, the only demonic breed capable of healing with magic. Current Lord: The Pupe.

The Dead: The dead are zombies or vampires, also mummies and liches fall in this category. Basically anything that's dead and still moving and attacking. Current Lord: Due to various technicalities, Tori

The Lost: The lost have no category. Crossbreeds often go here. They have a lord they revere: Shadow

The Lords: The lords dominate over the other seven classes, one for each. They epitomize their class and are neraly equal with Lucifer in power. Thier Lord is Racheal, the current holder of the Satan throne.


On magic:
Demon Magic: Demon magic uses magic circles to subvert forces used in nature. The force used determines the effect of the spell and is highly important: Wind force is used for transport, Earth force for material composition, Water force for ice offese spells and for rejuvination, Fire force for fire offensive attacks and for practical use. It is rumored but unproven that the High Lord of the demons can also use Life and Death force.

Human Magic: Most human mages are like DnD sorcerers. They are born with magic in their bloodstream, and can use it at will. They still need to learn the spells.

Umda sighed as he stretched. It was a big clearing his personal favourite. The trees were familiar, the wind was gentle, it was quiet. (He didn't know the name of the region it was in, nor did he care. One of the lessons of Shethnu was that all were one people.) He coud think as much as he wished and pray and meditate. Shethnu the water serpent had guided him here, and he was grateful. He started his morning exercises by stretching then found the biggest rock (roughly, say, the size of a basketball) and tossed it into the air with both hands. After catching and tossing a few dozen times, he began to use it as a weight.

After his workout came manuevers. Simple cleaves. Diagnol, from soulder to opposite hip. The overhead swings and sideways hews. He was swift, efficient, and careful to conserve momentum and energy. Wasted energy was like water spilled on the earth. Then tumbles and martial manuevers with fist and foot. Once he had pleased himself for the morning, he sat back on his stump and meditated to find the proper course of wandering for the day.
