I miss your eyes
I miss your lips
The way you rubbed my face
with your fingertips
I miss your skin
I miss your kiss
These are just a few things
that I miss
I could continue
for days or weeks
Your hair, your hands
and your cheeks
You probably think this poem is pointless
and it may be so
But there is one thing
that I want you to know
I miss you and I love you
and I always will
Even after we both are dead
I will love you still
I am sitting here
and I don’t have a clue
But I swear that every word in this poem
will always stand true
It took a while
to finally think this through
But then I realized
that all I am really missing is you
I miss your lips
The way you rubbed my face
with your fingertips
I miss your skin
I miss your kiss
These are just a few things
that I miss
I could continue
for days or weeks
Your hair, your hands
and your cheeks
You probably think this poem is pointless
and it may be so
But there is one thing
that I want you to know
I miss you and I love you
and I always will
Even after we both are dead
I will love you still
I am sitting here
and I don’t have a clue
But I swear that every word in this poem
will always stand true
It took a while
to finally think this through
But then I realized
that all I am really missing is you
