So, why go? Its just something I have to do. I've already tried stemming away from following that routine everyone goes through from Kindergarten onwards and it got me no where. At least with school, I'll have slightly more certainty that I'll be able to do something with what I've learned. I'm just here to get that Post Secondary education that most people think is absolutely needed to make it anywhere. You gotta do what you gotta do, right? I really want to finish all of this and get it over with, but at the same time, I don't think I'm committed enough to the whole thing to make it past the 2nd year. Which is sad considering its only a 3 year program.
The expectations people have of you are so high, depending on who you are, that sort of thing could really put you in a spin. I mean, who really wants to disappoint anyone? Then, of course, there're people who really don't care about what other people expect of them. I've no interest in architecture at all, which is retarded of me to go into a program about it. It was just the easiest choice for me since my father is an architect. But if anything, I'd just be using this background to further my artistic skills, learn how to draw backgrounds better and whatnot, or if I ever got into video game designing, it'd help me out with, again, background design.
I've already paid for a mess load of stuff so it'd be a waste to foreshadow giving up. And its only been 4 days anyway. Heh, just gotta tell yourself those things, eh? But like I said...

School has a way of making time fly by so I bet frst year will be over before you know it. It just sucks to spend all that money on something you dont really enjoy. Funny how it seems that way with most careers. You hear about people who love thier jobs but I'm not sure about that. I think if you turned your interests into work, you might not enjoy them as much.
Backgrounds at the very least will add a nice dimension to your portfolio. It definitely helps to have several specializations.
