I haven't ever delved into my personal life here on my Gaia Journal. (I have an LJ for that). But this time, the Gaia stuff coexists with the RL stuff.

So, I got my OMG yesterday. Today I decided to take pictures. This meant I'd have to go back upstairs on my low res comp and do it since all the programs and the camera were up there.

The table where I have my camera sitting, collecting dust, was covered in folded cranes. For some reason, this lead me to cleaning up a good portion of my room before even getting to the camera to plug it back into the computer. Took me a while.

And then finally, I decide to drag a box up from the garage and throw my paper cranes in it. This cleared the space for my camera to be placed closer to me.

So, I take a few pictures I think are pretty cool. Suddenly I notice the movement in the viewer part of the camera program stops. Everything stops. My computer froze! gonk So, I lost some good pictures.

I restart, even having to switch it off and on on the power strip cause my monitor decides there's no computer and gives me no image. (Poor comp's old, but i can't afford replacement right now)

I get it working again alright and go about taking pictures. This time, the program they go into is the smaller one and not Photoshop so I can avoid the potential problem.

So I've taken eleven pictures. They look pretty bad, so I'm cleaning them up. I guess I forgot to put it on high quality. Been quite a while since I used it. Maybe HQ's only available in digital camera mode.

I cleaned up two by fiddling with tones. I'll get the others tomorrow and upload them. xp Sorry to anyone looking forward to those.
