I feel like a horrible person. I always used to joke about how I'd laugh when the Croc Hunter would end up dying from a koala attack or something like that. Now that he is gone, I feel terrible for even thinking those things. I deserve to be mauled by a rampaging alligator.

This has to suck double for his wife and kids. Bindi's 8 and Robert's 3 this December, and they've already lost their dad. I hope the Australia Zoo won't end up crashing as a result of this. But, they'll probably end up doing even better for Steve's memory.

And so I say one last time in honor of Steve Irwin, and great man-

"Crikey!"
