tess is 4 minutes older than okami, but okami is 3 inches taller than tess. (okami is 5'10".) they are really close. okami has a major crush on al elric and tess really likes ed elric. tess is into rock and is a singer in her own band called "sweet and sour dreams". okami is into writing and drawing her own manga. their parents are journalists and are pretty normal. both tess and okami are a third wolf demon, so some of the demon rules apply. both girls are good friends with kaida and bankotsu and the others.
