We have company over right now, they're friends of my dad's from Hawaii. My dad goes to Hawaii a lot for business trips, so every time I walk by I hear them gossiping about their jobs. x3 I wonder if they know they're gossiping? 'Cause it's a manly gossip. Manly as in they keep raising their voice.
Erm.
Whats-Her-Name brought a lovely cheesecake. I'm nibbling at a peice right now. <3 I was told to thank her, but instead I ran to hide in my room. I often have trouble getting along with adults--which I find odd because I have no trouble getting along with people years older than me. But it feels like there's a barrier between us, and so instead of getting into the conversation I just kind of sit there, quietly. This is why so many of my friends' parents think I'm a quiet person. > _> But when I'm one-on-one with a friend, sometimes I just won't shut up.
Anywho, I had to spend all day today cleaning. I need to work on my summer homework--But plans are being made for me. I need to read an entire book. It'll take me a day or two if I just sit and read. I'm thinking, I'll pull an all-nighter and just read, sleep for a day, and then do the written part of the homework. It shouldn't be hard, it's just a lot of stuff about feelings and connections. I make that stuff up, since I make a connection for every sentence and promptly forget it, and I never feel anything but bored with such a poorly written book.
But as soon as I get that done....
I've got a lot of art to do.
