Mhm. I need to work on my Tagalog. I really need to do my summer work too. XD It's just sitting there, waiting for ten paragraphs about the character's relationships with the world around them to be highlighted. Fuuuuccckkk, I can't do it now, I'm not in the mood to do a good job. I can't do it tomorrow either, 'cause it's the picnic.
That St. Ninyo thing is almost over too. Tonight is the last night, and they take the stuff tomorrow. This week just crept by so slowly. XD
But it's been a good week. Let's finish off the week well too -- Kuya should get online tomorrow morning so we can chat, then the picnic should be a fun day. XD I hope it doesn't rain, 'cause it's outdoors, and it's a PICNIC. XD
Awww, the word "picnic" reminds me of the brand of shoestring potatoes called Pik Nik in the Philippines. I miss them more than usual today, probably because Jesse and I were discussing high school andyeah. Shoestring potatoes... XD You see, in the Philippines, the house we stayed in [my Lola and Lolo's] was within 30-second walking distance of a small food store. It was a cross among, say a deli, bakery, food-made-to-order, and a grocery store. We went there a lot a lot. XD Good baked goods. Cheap prices. ChocoMallows! <3 Hello Panda. <3 That Nestea that has the "ice" effect that makes the back of my throat feel fun. XD XD XD
This also reminds me of Milo. What's Milo? The best chocolate drink EVAR. XD How come we haven't bought any here, 'cause we can get some at the international food mart that isn't too far away...? But it's probably for the better. I'd drink that stuff down like there was no tomorrow. XD I'll just stick with this thin can of pineapple juice.
During lunch, Knil and I were talking about kare kare and [dih-ni-goo-ahn, I'd kill the spelling if I attempted. Kuya said that's how you spell kare kare, so I'll leave that.] I'm talking about the ox tail and string beans in a peanut butter sauce, and the pork fat in blood. 8D Both are delicious, believe it or not. The blood is the best part. XD;;; It goes so well with rice. Don't worry -- it's cooked. Except, when I was eating it in the Philippines [totally for the sauce, I don't give for the fat], everyone was all like "OH! So you like [dih-ni-goo-ahn], huh?". Everyone who passed by the table [a well-worn path in that house] commented on me eating it. After a while, that just made me paranoid, and I just stuck with the other meat dish that was there.
And while I'm talking about food, I miss fried bangus and tocino for breakfast. I miss tocino in general, mom doesn't cook it. XD I had banus at a party like last week, but it wasn't the same. I also miss that tub of 3-in-1 Splenda, the tub of ice cream. What flavors? Chocolate, strawberry, and UBE! Gawd, ube ice cream is THE best. I also miss drinking buko juice out of bukos. XD Thank you, Tita Linda. n_n<3 OHman, Kuya Boti's spaghetti... Best thing EVAR, aside from mom's, that is. XD I think I talked about my four favorite spaghettis already. Mom's, Kuya Boti's, Jollibee's, and then the one from the Binanenses. Aww, Jollibee's, ChowKing, and Quickly! <3
Word, I'm probably getting some of that stuff [the number four spaghetti] tomorrow at the picnic. Yes, tomorrow will be a good day. It will be an awesome day if Kuya goes online. Slim chance though, 'cause he has classes and life and love and stuff.
A quarter to six PM on the East Coast.
Wakey-wakey time for Kuya a while ago, now he's getting on a jeepney to school. XD Hopefully no queer encounters. XD Everybody's a little gay, but a lot of people are a little homophobic too. But it's differences in what society thinks that makes me weird in the Philippines, I guess.
I'm weird in general, anyway.
Listening to MCR right now. I have both their albums. XD Not burnt, actually bought, for once. That's a first. XD Unless having P!atD's first and only album counts. Yeahman, CDs. I stopped using my iPod just because.
I hope this entry comes out fairly long for once. My recent ones weren't so great. XD
Picnic tomorrow. End of St. Ninyo. A chance for a talk with Kuya [no promises].
Another day.
