Destiny opened her eyes to find herself where she expected to be. For the third time in as many weeks, she was again in the hospital. As soon as she opened her eyes, she realized she was not alone.
Izuko, Annelise and Yasashimi were all there. But most surprisingly of all, Tanoshii was there. "Whoa...I survived?" she asked, smiling weakly.
They all looked over at her, and Tanoshii grinned. "Des! You're awake!" he said, kissing her cheek.
She giggled, "Oh stop it. I just woke up; I don't need this"
"Don't be so hard on him, Destiny. He never left your side, you know. You've been unconcious for about three days now and we were starting to get worried" Izuko explained.
"Three...days?" Destiny said, her eyes wide.
"Yup. And it's true, I never left. How could I leave you, after being away from you for so long?" Tanoshii said, taking her hand.
She smiled, and yawned. "I'm so glad. I missed you so much" she said.
"Oh, and Destiny?" Yasashimi said.
She instantly paid attention, as he'd never really used her first name before.
"You're a universal hero. Because you killed Dawn, all the invaders on every planet that they had been attacking surrendered. And since the rest of the universe knew about her, and they don't have to worry about her anymore, you're being honored next Friday. Universe's greatest hero. To date" he explained.
Destiny's eyes widened, "I did all that, just from punching my sister in the face?

The next afternoon, Destiny escaped the limelight from her co-workers and constant affection from Tanoshii by jumping in the car which she hadn't used since Jack entrusted her with it, and started driving.
Not really intending to go anywhere, she found herself at the cemetary where her parents were burried. "How'd I end up here?" she asked herself, stepping out of the car and locking it.
She walked through the rows of headstones, finding her parents side by side. She sat down between them, staring out over the bay. "I did it, Dad. I found Dawn. And I killed her" she saif softly, placing her hand on his headstone. It was black, and warm in the sun. "Why didn't they tell me?" she thought, sighing.
When she finally returned home, after sitting in the cemetary for hours, Destiny was confronted by Annelise and Tanoshii.
"Where have you been?" Annelise asked, her hands on her hips.
Destiny sighed sadly, "I went to see my parents"

That Friday, the city of Tokyo invited the main planetary leaders to the city, to thank Destiny. They did so in front of trillions of people, broadcast live on ISTN (inter-stellar television network, the most watched channel in the galaxy).
Destiny wore a black dress with her hair done up. An unusual look for her, as she usually wore the TPD uniform, or just jeans and a tee-shirt.
At the end, Earth's leader adressed her, "Is there anything you would like to add, Miss Migoto?" he asked.
"I would just like to say...that this whole thing; all the invasions and bombings... it was all my fault" she said, sighing.
An enomrous gasp arose from the crowd that had gathered to watch.
"Yes. The leader, commonly known to you as Abunai, was my twin sister, Dawn. If it weren't for me, she would've turned out alright. I guess...I'm sorry" Destiny said.
Afterwards, Destiny went home, and changed out of her uncomfortable dress into pajamas. "And now comes relaxation" she sighed, falling onto her bed.
There was a knock on at the door, and she looked up.
"Come on in!" she said cheerfully, not sitting up.
The door opened, and Tanoshii walked in. "Hey Des. Me and Annelise were watching; what was courageous. I never would've been able to say that in front of so many people" he said, smiling and sitting next to her.
She smiled back up at him, "Of course not. You're wimpy" she said.
He looked downcast, but she pulled herself up and hugged him. "But that's why I love you" she added, kissing him lightly.

On the very last day of May, Annelise threw a surprise birthday party for Destiny. Everyone was there, including some of Destiny's oldest friends. But she spent most of her time away from the crowd, standing out on the balcony.
She stared over the city, listening to the quiet traffic below and looking up at the stars overhead. "What a nice birthday. I've got everything I could possibly want" she sighed, smiling.
The gentle music from inside changed to a slow song, and she looked over her shoulder in time to see Tanoshii walk out, his hands behind his back. "Whatcha doing out here?" he asked, leaning on the railing next to her.
"Just thinking. And looking out over the city. It's so beautiful sometimes" she said, smiling.
"Well Destiny, I've been thinking too" he said shortly.
"Oh? About what?" she asked, looking over at him curiously.
"About the fact that I love you more than life itself, and how I never want to let you go. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Destiny" he said.
Her eyes widened, as she realized where this was headed.
He kneeled in front of her, and took her left hand. "Destiny Wahei Migoto...will you marry me?" he asked.
"O-of course I w-will!" she stammered, her eyes welling up with tears.
He slipped the ring onto her finger and stood up. "I knew you'd say yes" he said, smiling.
"Oh shut up!" she said, grabbing him and kissing him.
