i think the real tragedy in America is allowing us all to live like this
pitted against each other
without appropriate resources for help
suppression of feelings and emotions until it's too late
slashing public resources
lying about there being no money for the poor
yet earning millions and billions through weapon sales
many of us are living paycheck to paycheck
we rely on our hours at work for insurance
then our hours are cut due to budgeting
corporations aren't able to budget their employees in yet can always budget bonuses for themselves
we're all underpaid
overworked
underappreciated
then we're punished and have our raises withheld when we don't meet one mark on a list of a million things to keep up with
the real tragedy is living like this
yearning for a quality of life yet being force fed survival
